I don't hate it, but I'm not a fan either. I don't find it "realistic" at all. I find the size of the heads very disproportionate to the rest of the body, without exception, and with very little facial detail

[shadow=green,left,300] I agree somewhat with Professor Crane, I don't hate it but I am not crazy about it either. I use to be quite fond of his work, now I just see it and think about it. I love some of it, but some designs I just can't help but critique. Don't get me wrong on this, I actually have a wall poster of Batman of his.  He is great but I see some things I point out. I love his work! I would die to have an original, but all I can afford are the small prints Any fan of Alex Ross should go out and buy Mythology. Definitely worth the price of the book. You get some great pics of all his work, and a glimpse of some unreleased stuff too! Awesome book!!! |

Must confess to being one of the Man's biggest fans. To my tastes and in my eyes, Ross can do virtually no wrong when it comes to his work. Im another Ross junkie who would buy near anything he works on. Different strokes.

Some people say cuz he takes references he can't draw on youtube but I told em he draws it from what he see's , then actually paints it so really he did the work but they keep arguing with me about it poeple like this get on my nerves who don't want to agree when you basicaly explained it so much they cannot argue back

I'm just not a fan you can say that but really he takes references from people in a superman costume so it depends on how the costume is (eg. thick or thin) but I feel he is always doing it in scale but agen you have your opinions |

I mostly like his art, but of course there are things that I would change; his spider-man in patricular looks pretty strange. Good art though!

I got mythology today and I was so shocked to see when he actually raws it theres hrdly any detail and when its painted theres much more detail then when he actually draws it
