We've got the three questions that LOG selected back from the new Mattel online contact "ToyGuru"
Also attached is a schedule for Mattel during the San Diego Con! The answers are about as detailed as you can expect just before the con! lol. Enjoy fans.
--------------------------------------------------
Are there any plans for Mattel to create a direct web store for all of their products (ala Hasbrotoyshop.com)? (Hasbro's has made finding shortpacked toys much easier, and they also tend to have product available long before it's out on shelves.) And I realize that Barbie, American Girl, and Hotwheels already have stores... obviously, this is referring to the rest of their products.
We have looked into this and are exploring several options. Stay tuned…
In regard to the animated 'The Batman' line. Will we see any season 4 villains or the new DC heroes make any appearances in the upcoming toylines for 2007-2008?
This is something we will be addressing at Comic Con. Can’t give away all of our big news before the show.
- Any plans for Wonder Woman in the Superfriends line?
This depends on how well the initial offerings go. As with any of our lines, the more popular they are with kids and collectors, the more opportunity we will have to create more diverse characters. Diane is definitely on the short list!
