Over at TNI & Fwoosh there's reports of TRU exclusives 2-Packs. To me it looks sort of like a repaint of the Bat-Signal Batman with the Attack Armor Batman cape (shoulder/neck peice) with Robin in a blue & black costume. I personally think the Robin does look cool though. On the back of the card it shows Batman & Nightwing. Anyone seen or heard of this set before? There's a pic of the Batman & Robin set (front & back) on page 2 of this thread - www.fwooshnet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41706&sid=3c5506444b6a2828f373b59327886b26

They have Robin in blue and also in his red and green costume. Don't know if one is a chase , but i've seen both versions. I like the standard robin better .

Yeah I kinda hinted at this while asking for questions for Mattel Questions... 1) Will Nightwing be released under the DC Super Heroes line? 2) Any plans for a new Superman or Batman toy line? 3) Any news on the rights to other DC super hero characters? I can actually answer most of this myself. 1. Yes. Kind of. 3. wait for San Diego Con

Anyone have these open yet? It looks like he has his hand open. The Original Mattel Batman had it closed...or am I wrong in this? Like the big cape also! I live in Miami, so I'll see these sometime next year!

Batmans right hand is opened. There is a batarang attached to it by rubber band. The cape is big, you can tell by looking into the box. His left hand has the "trigget finger" pose that we've seen before, and the cape is attached to the wrist by string.

I just picked one up the Robin is the same as the DCSH itself a repaint of the Mattel robin from the batman line no changes come with a red batarang the large one that was packaged with the DCSH 3 Batman the Batman is a repainted Batsignal Batman same sculpt and articulation and batarang as the DCSH series one Batman couple of differences ball jointed head as opposed to the cut joint in series 1 , MUCH better paint wash, and the clincher .............................................. the cape is freakin HUGE!!!!!! it looks AWESOME !!!! this is a great figure even without the new "hinge hip" articulation the DCSH figures have it is still definitely worth picking up I'll send Matt a couple pics if he wants to post them won't be great quality (camera phone) but you'll get the idea ;D

Cool Pics. Although I already have Bat-Signal Batman and I don't need another of that Robin I really want this set. Matt, Does Batman have aball-jointed neck like the original Bat-Signal Batman?

My TRU.com order with the Mattel DC Super Friends Aquaman and DCSH Bat-Signal Batman/Robin and Bat-Signal Batman/Nightwing TRU Exclusive 2-Packs. And the Nightwing was indeed the variant blue & black costumed Robin and "NOT" Nightwing.

is he super poseable of pretty standard like zipline batman? Meaning can he be posed to do martial arts moves?

He's basically the Bat-Signal Batman & DCSH Series 1 Batman, but with a giant cape. Meaning he has 19 POA consisting of - neck, ball-jointed shoulders, upper arm swivels, elbows, forearms, wrists, mid torso ball-joint, waist, t-crotch hips, knees & ankles. So he has 9 more POA than Zipline BAts (10 POA) but 2 less than DCSH Series 3 Batman (21 POA) He has extra wrists/hand articulation the the Series 3 Batman lacks, but he doesn have the hinged hips and thigh cuts of the Series 3 figure.

And in case anyone hasn't seen it yet...here's the variant Robin - Even though I'm a traditional costumed person I actually like the colors of this Robin...Although I do think it would have looked cooler if the cape lining was blue instead of yellow.

He's listed in the wave in Oct with Clayface, Catwoman, Joker (repaint), Nightwing(Repaint) & Bruce Wayne (Repaint). Both BBTS & CSC have the case up for preorder for $60 + shipping. So with shipping it's like $12 a figure for a case of 6. So I ordered it so I don't have to go crazy looking for them.
