Fly out to space? Sounds pretty good to me. I'll be keeping my eye out for this one.

In your opinion do you guys & gals think that movie based games really work? I am not sold on the idea, I think that with Superman, Batman, Nightwing, etc... these heroes have been around for 60+ years and that they should be able to come out with more creative and better storylines for games then basing it off a movie. Sure I get the whole play as if you were in the movie idea, but a better idea is being original, I hope video game makers get the drift

Make a game that features the villains in the movie (promotes the movie) but people already see the movie. Why do we want to go through an unfinished game when we could just watch the movie? These tie-ins usually make me not want to see the movie. Except King Kong's game, that was a great game.

I like movie tie-in games. They really go beyond the story and have more features. Just look at Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2.

I'll admit those two were done pretty well overall. Most tie-ins don't get a high budget, they are rushed out the door so that they can release with the movie, and generally lack innovation. Some of which have such sloppy controls, that rather than fighting a villain, you spend your time fighting the controls or the camera. There are exceptions, but for the majority of tie-ins, they are very low quality.

I haven't been keeping up with the Superman: Returns movie news, but why is Metallo in the game? Is he going to show up in the movie or is this game similar to the first Spider-Man movie game which included villains that weren't in the movie?

Loved Spiderman and Spiderman 2, although they were very short games. I'd love to play a new Superman game, perhaps seeing other villains other than Lex?

[shadow=purple,left,300]I can't wait for this game. I just hope it's as good as games like Spider-Man 2 or Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, with all the free roaming and such. It should be a winner![/shadow]
