I'm thinking of buying this one on ebay for Gamecube. Is the game any good? I've seen several positive reviews for it, but I'd like to hear from someone on the board. Are there any other Bat characters appearing in the game other than Clayface, Scarecrow and Bane?
Thank you,
David

[shadow=red,left,300]The great things about the game are the graphics, the voice work, and all of the little extras you can unlock over time. The bad part is the gameplay. It's pretty much a mindless beat em' up where you knock the crap out of the same enemies over and over until you reach a boss. It gets repetitive after awhile.[/shadow]

Ugh, I'm not much of gamer, but I was sorely disapointed in this game. Nothing but repetitive and unimaginative button-mashing. I only kept my copy because I collect Bat-stuff. Otherwise, it would have been sold back within a week.
I really enjoyed Batman: Vengenace, but it's a totally different kind of game.
I don't recall any villains beyond those you mention, but then I put this game out of memory. (And for the record, I played through to the very end.)

For me it is $10.00 worth of fun. I'm always looking for games like this to play with my son (he's 8) because of the co-op game play.
If you want something that anyone can pick up a controller and play along with you, this is a good game to pick up.

My daughter would like playing along with me (should would love to play as Batgirl). And when my son's gaming skills evolve beyond just pressing the start button over and over again (he's two), this will be fun for him as well.

It's not that bad of a game, I have it for the PS2 and like Bullock said it gets a bit repetitive, but you can play as Batman, Tim Drake Robin, Barbara Gordon Batgirl, and Nightwing, and team up, so that is worth it and if you can get it cheap then pick it up. It's fun and should keep the kids entertained...
I think that The Joker and Penquin are in the game in some form, it has been awhile since I played it

Like everyone has said, this is basically a mindless fight game, somewhat like the old Contra games. But it is fun!!! And its a really great game for partner play. The graphics and voice work are enough to grab it up!

I agree with majority. It was cool with the graphics voices and such. But the same old fighting got old very quick. I still have mine but I've never finished it. In fact now that I remembr, the main reason why I got it was to get that exclusive Batgirl figure.

It's mindless and fun (for the first 15 minutes). Then I had to have someone constantly poke me to keep me from falling asleep while playing it.

I think if you had the code or beat it or something, you could have costume swaps for the characters. Batman would have the blue/grey outfit, Robin would have the classic comic like costume with the green trunks and booties, Nightwing would have the 80's look, the light blue and yellow and...I forget what Batgirls alternative costume is.

Sin Tzu is a solid & moderatley good Batman game based upon the foundation laid by the animated series. Sin Tzu, was infact created by Jim Lee, especially for the game. Although I believe a Batman game should be stealthy, scary, & brutal at the same time. This is a mindless fighting game, & gets abit repetitive after awhile, although It's perty good. Pick it up, along with Batman Vengeance, incase you haven't played it.

Although they are not featured Villians in the game and to touch on what I was saying earlier The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy all appear in the game

Believe me it works you have to enter it lightning fast. I couldn't enter it myself, one of my firends had to do it cause he's a bit faster.

Oh, yeah I forgot about that. In the Scarecrow fight. I found the fastest way to beat him was to watch the fog & attack in the places it moves. & Sin Tzu was incredibly hard until you finally figure out what to do. It takes like an hour to beat him.

Lol.. I actually just bought this game tonight for PS2 at FYE (brand new w/ Nightwing fig) for $5.00. Couldnt resist a Batman game since finally entering the 21st century of home video gaming last December beyond my Sega Genesis. Ive barely tested it, but can already tell I'll agree I wont find it the greatest or most engagung / demanding game... but fun.
