I picked up the copy for DS yesterday, it's not bad. I like how you can play the different characters. I bet it would be a lot better for the larger platforms though. I'm still enjoying it on my DS, gives me something entertaining to do ;D

I picked it up for the Xbox last Wednesday and having a lot of fun playing it. I've heard the GBA Flash themed game is pretty good as well.

I picked it up last Tuesday and I love this game. But I was hopeing once you finished the game they let you be anyone in any level...but it's the same game play you just get to keep all your characters changes/purchases (Alt. costumes, power- ups & boosts) I must have beaten the game at least four times now trying to get Hal and Ollie up to full forces. I find if you give each character full Health, Recovery & the "X" button weapon first they are pretty much unbeatable. I have most of them there now...and some charaters like Batman, Hal, Supes & WW & Flash only need about 4 or 5 more total boosts to be complete.
And there's a lot of humorous one liners in there. Hawkgirl "Hey buddy my face is up here!" Aquaman "I better not hear any sea monkey jokes" Flash "Monkey see monkey do...Seriously there monkey do all over the floor!"
I forget what level Hawkgirl was in when she said it, but both Aquaman & Flash said their lines in the Grod village levels. PJ

I have the game, and I had such high expectations for it, and I feel as though the game fell flat. Not being able to choose what hero you want to be is annoying, first level is cool, because you can be Batman, but then the next stage of the game is you get to be The Martian Manhunter or Zatanna? Yawn.... Playing as Flash & Green Lantern is okay.
Every stage gets boring as you fight the same villian over and over and over again til you reach the end boss.
And the other heroes that you can unlock are alright, but do we really need 3 green lanterns in the game? That just took away from the fact that they could have had other Justice League members in the game like Firestorm, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, Rocket Red, etc...
Why is it that DC cannot put out great video games like Marvel?
Graphics and Sound effects are really well done, and for some reason I didn't like Ron Perlman as the voice of Batman. Did they get the guy that did the voice of John Stewart in the cartoons to do the voice in the video game?

I have gotten a bit deeper into the game, and my view on it has changed a little bit, not alot but a bit. As you get more into the game you can atleast choose teams of heroes which gives you a better chance at playing as Batman (or whichever hero you want) more.
I am trying like a madman to upgrade Bats to everything, and I am maybe halfway there, I have upgraded his suit to the Batman Beyond version, and bought Supes alt black uniform, and I am slowly trying to build up the other heroes as well. For some unknown reason I unlocked Aquaman, the guy is really useless, I have no clue as to why I unlocked him, I should have gone for Hal Jordan, Hawkgirl or The Huntress...
The storyline is really moving along nicely, and the JLA villians are super cool

Actually, I don't think Aquaman is that bad. Boosted up he's pretty good and can stand on his own.
In all honesty, the Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner unlockables aren't really worth it as they are really just a skin for John. I mean it's pretty cool to team up Hal and Kyle (which I have done on occasion) but unfortunately, they have the same powers and skills with the character skins being different and slight tweaks in the power animation.
The biggest problem with the unlockable characters (IMO) is that when you get them, they are already behind (skill/level wise) the main characters so that they have a harder time fighting/keeping up in the levels that you actually use them. If anything it's sometimes better to team them with one of the more 'experienced' members of the team at that point.
Green Arrow is actually pretty good, especially after boosting him. His "rain of arrows" power can get enemies around corners is done properly.
I'm on my third run through the game and still enjoy it.

(vVv) thanks for the heads up with the other two GL, I was wondering if they would be similar as John Stewart, this will save me wasting my shields, and unlocking other stuff before them.
I am thinking of getting The Green Arrow next, but I am also leaning towards Hawkgirl, who would you get first? And how is The Huntress?

And how is The Huntress?I would get the Green Arrow first just because his arrows are pretty fast and do ranged damage. You can fire and run with most of his arrow set except the 'rain of arrows'. The 'rain of arrows' though is good because you can be shielded around a corner and aim the cross hairs over a villain around the corner and fire. Hawkgirl isn't bad but if you just jump in with her without an experienced character she can be easy pickings...The Huntress is pretty good too but I was having more trouble with her than Ollie and her arrows seem to need to be aimed more accurately than GA. The Huntress does have a nice little stun arrow which can come in handy. Hawkgirl and the Huntress are the only two that have only four powers to use unfortunately. (vVv)

(vVv) I guess they really didn't think this game through for the unlockables when they designed it. I will be grabbing Ollie next and working with him. I don't like that once you get into playing a certain hero, and getting him boosted and ranked it's like BAM, next level, new heroes, oh well.
Being this your third time through the game, does anything change?
Are you happy with the unlockables they choose for the game? If you could replace any, which characters from the Justice League would you have subbed in? Before you even mentioned the flaws with the other two Green Lanterns I thought it was pointless to have 3 GL's in the game, they could have added other JLA's like Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, The Red Tornado, Captain Atom, Dr. Fate, or Rocket Red.

The only real difference I noticed is the difficutly...LOL, yeah but nothing else changes. Actually, even with my boosted teams, elite is giving me some real problems. The Queen Bee kills me with 2 hits. As for the unlockables, more characters would have been welcome as well as giving them a bigger role than just filler for certain missions. The other 2 GLs wouldn't have been soo bad if they were different, I mean you can unlock Jay but he is just a skin for Wally...that could have been done for the GLs. Sometimes, I team up Ollie and Hal on missions. They used to get their butts handed to them early on but they're getting to the point where it isn't impossible to pass a stage with the two together. I would have liked to see Dr. Fate and I was a bit disappointed that Captain Marvel wasn't included becuase at E3, the WB interactive rep made it seem like Captain Marvel WAS included in the game when Gamespot's Rich Gallup asked if the character was one of the unlockables. Actually though, just to see more characters would have been nice...Blue Beetle and Booster would have been fun to play together... I'm a huge fan of these characters and I still play the old JL Task Force on my SNES from time to time so biasedly I enjoy going back and playing again and again even though I've passed it. Like your favorite movie, you may have seen it a hundred times but you still enjoy going back and seeing it again. (vVv)

(vVv) It is cool to be able to make your teams of two from time to time throughout the game, I am still getting through the game, haven't beaten it once yet, (time restrictions and all) but the game just got alot better after I beat Brainiac, and the newer, better villian that pops up is awesome!
I am jealous that you get to play JL Task Force I remember when I had that game, but through the years and getting the Playstation to the Playstation 2 I lost it, or gave it away the SNES and all of its games, I wish I hadn't now.
That is a bummer that it was hinted that Captain Marvel aka Shazam was going to be in the game and BAM nothing. I think they put too many unlockable alt. costumes in the game that also takes away from being able to have more JLAers in the game.
Do you find that when you are playing by yourself the computer hero is really dumb and annoying? I do, I will be battling a villian and the other hero helps me, where it should be battling with other villians in the room

LOL, I'm on the area leading up to the Queen Bee and controlling Jonn and for whatever reason, the computer controlled Zatanna refuses to heal herself or me. I mean I would think that if you or the character itself were getting low on hitpoint, something would kick in to say...HEAL! Worse yet, sometimes I'm in the back trying to use a ranged attack and the second hero will charge in...getting themselves killed in the process. Sometimes I feel like the Flash when he says..."Uh-oh...just me and all these bad guys." after your partner dies. Keep playing man, I have picked up 2 new games after JLH but I still go back and play the game because I enjoy it. (not to say the other games are bad, just that I still enjoy JLH enough that I like to go back to it.) (vVv)

^ I beat the game the other day, and I gotta say it went really fast, and I just started it a second time through and moved it up a level in difficulty. I unlocked Green Arrow & The Huntress and my goal is to boost up atleast three heroes this time through the game, and like you have been saying banzaiboy it really has become a fun game to play.
