Just so you know the silver thing looks like it's for a ponytail. I'm thinking about maybe adding one to him. But if not...it's not really sticking out...so you can probably remove it rather easily or just paint over it. In anycase it's nowhere near as bad as people were making it out to be. I did swap it back though...as I kind of liked the old one better. Maybe when I get another I'll do a permanent head swap. I don't think it looked bad, but I'm just use to the old one. PJ

I may do that too. Did you put the original head on the other body? If so can you put some pics up?
He looks like he did in the miniseries before movine to Bludhaven. All you'd really have to do is try to add a ponytail.

That silver thing is tying his hair back. so his ponytail is under it. so to add a ponytail would not make any sense at all. the figure is intended to have a (rather feminine) bun hairstyle.

Actually it looks like the figure was meant to have a ponytail...as there is a small green indentation in the center of it that looks like it was meant to hold a ponytail. It is to flat on his head to think it's holding his hair in a bun. PJ

Here is how I may try to do the pony tail. It was cut off in the first issue of the main series, but this is what he looked like in the mini series:

I'm thinking maybe a Jakks Triple H or RVD ponytail might work if you shave down the post and paint the hair black. PJ

Thanks for the pics PJ.
I will probably do that when I get the nightwing figure. The newer figure could look a little better if he was painted.
Just to double check, is the head on Nightwing like the head on the Batman figures with the post on the torso and a hole in the head?

Yes they are like Batman's...but they are 2 different sized posts. The new one has a smaller post on the torso. Which makes the new head rather tight on the older body. But both fit on each other without any trouble. Also if you look the costume looks very close to the Hasbro LOB Nightwing...so when I get another I'll be truning him into that version. And yes the Hasbro LOB Nightwings shoulder piece fits on this figure well enough to work. PJ

With all due respect PJ there is no way in hell the figure was designed to have a ponytail. If you look close there is a small green dot in the centre of the silver thing which is intentional. I hold the figure in my hand as i type this.

OK let's agree to disagree...as I fell it was for a ponytail. PJ

It looks good PJ.Just one thing is it the photo or is there a gap between the forearm joint and the rest of the arm on the new fig?

I was afraid that they would eventually start sticking action features into figures. It wasn't enough to have all this gear. Now they are going to mess up some sculpts by cramming in action features. That was one good thing that Hasbro did. The majority of the figures they made didn't have action features, just accessories that did stuff
