Okay, right now, I have but one to share, and it's really just a repaint of a Smash-n-Go Hulk with Punching Action and Street-Rumble Base. I have no idea what those features are, since I never put in a set of batteries to test it. Instead, I repainted the figure to become Solomon Grundy. A little large and too detailed next to Bruce Timm animated style figures, but...well, there it is. I'm still working on my actual contest entry, so I'm going to hold off posting my How I Did It pages until it's ready to be unveiled. As soon as I get the next roll developed, I'll have pics of a couple Joker customs I did years and years ago, along with a figure of Blackspider, a semi-original character created by a friend of mine.

Lookin good. You can get some cheap movie Hulk figures and repaint ir. Might be in scale with the Mattel line.

Unfortunately the movie figures (at least the ones I found) were far too large, more to scale with Mattel's 6" line. If they made a smaller scale, other than the Smash-n-Go variety, I never saw them. Ah well.

Great work Batwulf,i like him a lot. How far do you have to go on your contest entry.I estimate about another week all going smoothly for mine.I'm really enjoying this customising lark.

My contest entry is nearly complete. There's still a part I'm not thrilled with, but I'm going to try a few experiments today, see if I can whip it into line. Photos of the near-finsihed product are being processed even as I type, but even if I get this finished today, the pics I'll take won't be back for almost a week. It's a pain living in the middle of nowhere. And thanks, everyone, for your comments on Grundy! Can't wait to share pics of my earliest Bat-custom attempts.

I'm looking forward to seeing your custom and the building process as well.I just literally got over a major hurdle with mine and i'm really pleased with the result so far. This customising is scary but a lot of fun,i'm looking forward to doing a lot more of them in the future.

A good friend of mine created a character for a DC-based online RPG. Basically a 10-year-old Spider-Man, bitten by a spider exposed to kryptonite radiation. He was called Blackspider, and Robin (my character) befriended him. Long story short, I always wanted to make a figure of Blackspider, but never found a good base figure on the same scale as the Batman Animated ones. However, I did find a Manga-style Spider-Man that was perfect for the Mattel 6-inch scale. I'm hoping it will look even better beside a Teen Titans Robin (assuming Teen Titan figures ever make it to my little cornfield). Very soon, I'll be ready to unveil my contest entry!
