Hey folks, Things have been busy, so it's been difficult to finish the many customs that are near completion (and yet more keep getting started), but I have managed to finish a handful. I've just updated with an animated Firefly and Toyman (thanks, Mike!), as well as "corrected" hands for the Hush "Jason Todd" figure. Enjoy! Casimir Inanimate Objects www.pilliod.net

Y'know, you've done so many great customs. They are just incredible. There is one member of the Batfamily that is missing though. Batmite! I would love to see you do a custom of him! ;D

Hmmm.... Can't say Batmite ever appealed to me. Of course, he'll be in the DCD Batwoman-Batgirl set. Maybe one day I'll work far enough down the animated list to honor his ever so brief animated cameo. Maybe... I'll keep ya posted.
Thanks for the kind words!

As always, your work is just awesome Casimir! You are one of the few customizers whose work is so flawless that it looks as if it were produced by an actual toy company for retail sale!
I love what you did with the Hush Jason Todd, and I was wondering if you could go into a bit more detail about how you mounted the custom hands on, and how you created pegs for the new hands with a styrene rod. Also, where can I get a styrene rod from, or what alternative methods can you suggest for creating custom pegs for custom hands?
Thanks again for sharing your work with us, and I hope to hear about your Jason Todd custom process soon!

dkd608,
Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you like the little guys!
For JT's hands, I simply created a peg from a styrene rod. This means I selected a rod of appropriate diameter (I keep a supply of various sizes on hand) by matching the rod to the existing holes in the arms. I then drilled a small hole into the "wrists" of the hands, then glued the small pieces of rod into the hole. In one case the final fit was somewhat loose, so I wrapped a layer of masking tape around the styrene peg, thus widening the diameter until it fit snugly, but not too tight. Clear as mud?
All manner of styrene products are usually available at hobby shops, specifically those that cater to modeling, railroadig, etc. Som art stores might have a limited selection, but not often.
I hope that helps!
