Ok, so we all know about the Collector's Edition set that will be coming out later in the year featuring a black HUSH BATMAN variant. We also know about the $250.00 price tag .... Well, since I love the way that black variant looks, but ain't gonna skip a car payment to get one, I decided to take matters into my own hands and make myself one. Now, I am a novice and it really is not very good, plus it is nothing more than a repaint, but hey I save $250.00.... I still need to touch it up a bit, and put a clear finish on it, but wanted to show you guys how it looked. Please be honest with your feedback!!

He looks like a real variant. If you reboxed him and put him on ebay you could probably make yourself $250. lol. Great job!

That looks great to me. Did you use a brush or did you mask and spray paint?

Thanks for the compliments, guys!! Overall, I am pleased with it and am thrilled that you like it!
Flabat, to answer your question, I painted it all with brushes, using flat acrylics. Took me about two hours all together.

[shadow=green,left,300]He really looks fantastic peev. A great idea. I think many of us may do that, since we can't afford that price tag! [/shadow]

Very smooth, professional looking paint job. Amazing how little things make all the difference, isn't it? Really nicely done.
It looks to kick the butt.

Thank you guys!
For another repaint of sorts, I am working on a 10" Bats in the classic Blue and Greys.

That looks Great...although I prefer the blue & gray costume myself. But still that looks awesome...and the best part is after the cost of the 2nd figure & paint you saved at least $235.00 on it. Great job. PJ
