I had an old combat belt Batman that I really beat up when I was a kid. After watching some BTAS episodes, I decided to fix it up. I switched the head with a BTAS varient ( they come in handy for something) and totally repainted the fig. I also gave him a new cape. Before: After:

Thanks for your comments guys. The symbol was the hard to do. I had to make a utensil out of paper to get the oval, then paint the bat symbol as good as I could. But the cape was the hardest part.

Great job! That really captures the spirit of the design better than the standard Hasbro version. Tell us more about the cape!

Great job! That really captures the spirit of the design better than the standard Hasbro version. Tell us more about the cape! Casimir For the cape, I just got silky material, used the original cape as a utensil, but I added a little more to make the cape bigger. Then I cut a small whole to stick his head through. It was a process of trail and error. Nice Job But i want to ask, what happened to the before batmans head and stuff. It looks like the paint ran off or something. I’m going to tell you a story. You see, as a small boy, I had some crazy ideas. Like the time I put my cat in the dryer…but that’s a different story. Anyways, one day I brought my combat belt Batman to school and I thought it would look cool if I scraped his face on a brick wall. Why I thought that? Well as I said, I had some crazy ideas when I was kid.
