I was watching the 60's Batman movie on dvd and noticed that in some parts it seems that some of the voices (especially Burt Wards) seems abnormally louder even with a little bit of an echo. Especially in the beginning. And throughout the movie it does that. Is it just my version of the dvd ? Is it part of the movie transfer they did before putting it out ? I was just wondering if anyone else has heard what I'm talking about. DrGreenEvil
ON a side note: Man I loved watching this movie again. But it also reminded me of how stupid some of it was. Like in the classic bomb scene, why didn't he just dive into the water putting out the fuse. Also I feel sorry for the Joker, he didn't really get to do anything in the movie. Riddler had his part with the riddle missiles. Catwoman had her Kitka alias. Penguin was basically the head with the submarine and the henchman. But Joker didn't really do anything but deal with the Commodore and launch missiles. He didn't do any of his pranks on Batman and didn't really contribute to the plans. Still Ceasar Romero was great. Theres a pic in the special features of him sitting around in his makeup. He looks even more like the Joker with his hair pulled back then he did in the series. Wish whoever was arguing over dvd rights would come to a compromise. If this series was released, they could charge $50 a pop and still make a killing.

One does wonder about the plot.
However, it's also understood that the series really slipped into campiness with this movie. This was produced at the end of the first season, and it sounds like it was produced in a real hurry. And it did have some weirdness to it, for sure. On the other hand, it seems to be an interesting romp and a fun film to see on a summer day. We are lucky to have this on DVD.
Hopefully, we should start to see this series on DVD sometime in 2007. This is what we heard when we went to the Motor City Comic Con in Detroit back in May.

I never noticed an echo! I love the movie too!!! It is not stupid!!! I love the bomb scene ("Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!"). Yeah I agree with the Joker statement! I can't wait till the series comes out either (along with everyone else!).
