www.apple.com/trailers/touchstone/theprestige/large.htmlChristopher Nolan returns with a movie on magic! The casting includes Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Michael Caine, and Scarlett Johannson! Looks like quite a blowout of celebrities! I can't wait to see Bale and Jackman working together and seeing Caine again!

[shadow=purple,left,300]It looks very Nolan-esque. I'd have to read some reviews before I see it in the theater, but I do want to see it![/shadow]

Does anyone else have any opinions on Nolan's take in magic?

Ive found this intriguing since first hearing of it some time ago. Just souds interesting and original. Have to see and learn more before I decide to see it in the theatre or wait for dvd though. But the concept, cast and creative folks involved have me interested to see it one way or the other eventually.

Just to revive this board, the movie just came out and reviews are looking good from both the critics and the fans It's quite a fun filled cast too! We get Michael Caine and Christian Bale back, as well has Hugh Jackman and Scarlett Johannson all directed by our favorite Christopher Nolan If you've watched it, tell us what you though.

I just got back from this! I thought it was most excellent. It was filled with Nolan's style of storytelling, where the film will follow events from several different points in time, at the same time, like we got a glimpse of in the first part of Batman Begins. I loved seeing Bale and Jackman as rivals/nemeses, and the movie has a ton of twists. And this isn't just guys pulling rabbits out of top hats, there's a huge dimension of crazy feats and illusions(or not) that go on. As I said, the plot is very rooted in the rivalry of the two main characters, and there's lots of motivations for that. Anyway, I really recommend this one, it's gripping and fascinating, and a nice appetizer for The Dark Knight.

We just got back from seeing it. Awesome. Good story, good acting, good twists. This is my favorite Nolan flick, yes, even over that other one he did. I was very pleased with this film and it will be a part of my home collection when it is released.
