The first one was great. The mostly black and white laced with bits of color was such a cool effect. The story was gritty and awesome. And luckily, it did good enough that we are getting a sequel. There is an interview at www.comics2film.com/FanFrame.php?f_id=23153. Some good details in there. It is definitely still in the preliminaries though.

Thanks for posting this Jake. I heard Frank's real busy right now down in Austin, so I'd say this is gonna be a lot bigger than the first.

As a fan of Sin City right from back when the original Sin City tale was published in Dark Horse Presents, gotta say I'm really looking forward to this. Loved the first flick (despite the odd hiccup here and there) and definitely looking forward to seeing more of Miller's SC books brought to big screen monochromatic life.
Until then I'm just hanging out for 300 next year, which is probably my fave Frank Miller book ever, and the film looks to be doing it equally great justice so far...

The first Sin City was awesome! Knew they were headed to a sequel and now glad that they're beginning to get back on track. So how many does that make? Fantastic Four, Hulk (animated version), Batman Begins, ..we have a TON of sequels coming up!
