What is your favorite episode from the fourth and final volume of Batman TNAS?
I have a few like many "Legends of the Dark Knight" is a great one, "Sins of the Father", "Judgment Day", "Torch Song", "Animal Act" & "Love is a Croc" but my favorite episode from volume 4 is "Old Wounds" Why? Because they explain what happened between Bruce & Dick, and what broke up "The Dynamic Duo" the way it is played out and how Dick & Tim talk and Dick wants to be nothing like Bruce, but in many ways he is. This episode was definately inspired by DC Comics Batman issue # 416, does anybody remember that issue and see any simularities?
I have only two complaints about volume four and they are:
1. Jason Todd is my all time favorite Robin and I don't like the fact that they took Jason Todd's origin and slapped it on Tim Drake. If they were going to go that way they should have just made Robin Jason Todd.
2. Lack of classic villians in Volume 4. Sure it is great to see new and fresh villians introduced like Roxy Rocket, Livewire, Farmer Brown, & Calender Girl, but I didn't like how it took away from seeing classic villians. I think the only time we see The Riddler is in "Judgment Day" for about 10 seconds. And there was way too much of Poison Ivy & Harley Quinn for my liking in Volume 4. So there should have been more Riddler, Man-Bat, Mr. Freeze, and solo Joker!
Also I was wondering is Kevin M. Richardson, who does the voice of the Mutant Leader in "Legends of The Dark Knight" the same Kevin M. Richardson that does the voice of The Joker in The Batman?

I'm torn between OVER THE EDGE, OLD WOUNDS, and LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT. I'll have to think about this one for awhile.

Judgment Day if one of my faves. It really makes you feel for Two Face. He's come the the point where he's making himself a victim of his own madness. I love the end of that episode when he says "...guilty, guilty, guilty." I just think it's creepy in a way.

I think the best ep is "Over the Edge", but my favorite may be "Legends of the Dark Knight." Tough to choose between those, "Old Wounds", "Sins of the Father", "Cold Comfort", and "Mad Love" - even the goofy ones like "Love is A Croc" and "Critters" have a lot of appeal, for different reasons. ;D

So many good episodes to choose from!!!! Okay my vote went to Legends of the Dark Knight. The reason why you ask? Simply for the Timm style of the Dark Knight Returns. The amination, the style, the tone, the coloring, I could go on an on... It is Frank Miller DKR spot on set in the Timmverse.

After much thought, I decided to vote for OLD WOUNDS. It had a great moment in any Batman cartoon that may never be seen again: the breakup of the Dynamic Duo with Robin puching out Batman.
