What classic villain do you think should have been in Batman Beyond? I loved the new ones that were created in the show (Blight and Inque). The best episodes of the seriers were ones that connected the timeline between then and now (or present and future if that is more accurate). Bane made a sad appearance. I really enjoyed seeing that this powerhouse becomes nothing, but an empty shell. Mr. Freeze was done very well also. I loved the ongoing tragedy of his extended life. His suit was awesome too. The Joker ruled in BB:ROTJ. I did not get to see the one with Ra's al Ghul.
I am voting on a new Riddler. I would love to see him as having Alzheimer's disease. Imagine, the man that wants to know everything can't remember anything that he has learned. A true tragedy story. Then maybe seeing a son or daughter of Nygma fight BB to connect to what and who their father was before his condition. Also, watch that they may have inherited the disease. See how they cope with everything. I am very partial to Riddler. One of my favorites.
P.S. I only put villains that have not shown up in BB. Let me know if I missed any or if they have been in an episode already.

Wow IamtheNightwing, tough choices there. I think ultimately the Beyond crew did a good job with what they DID re-visit and think much more woulda / coulda been too much or just not worked IMHO. Not to say I havnt considered some guest spots myself, nor do I think a slew of such ideas couldnt be cool. I vote Firefly since I think they could have done something really cool with his concept combined with Beyond tech? But others such as the original Clayface or Poison Ivy couldve been pulled off within reason. Others like Scarecrow could simply be cool and fun. As for what actual established villains made their presence know, I think you pretty much named em...(Bane, Ra's, Freeze, and Joker). I suppose you would have to count "Grama Harley" as well.

No other votes? A poll doesn't work if only three people have voted. Come on people. Vote. Out of over fourteen hundred people, three have voted.

Clayface would probably give Terry a tough time, so I think he would've been great for BB.

I voted Clayface because it could have been done easily, and still had a great story. I would assume that he's "immortal" like Freeze, so I would have liked to see him in BB some how.

Harley Quinn was in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. She's in the flashbacks to the TNBA era and as her elder self...the grandmother of Dee Dee.
as for my vote, I went with two-face!

I voted for Poison Ivy. Just look at it, Terry is a teenage boy, Poison Ivy would have him under her thumb in a second. I though I read somewhere that she supposedly dissapeared into the jungle and became one with nature, it's possible that she got some level of immortality from that. Plus there's the whole industrial Gotham that's ripe for Ivy's nature wrath.

Yeah, I had considered leaving her off for that appearance. I figured that if people really wanted Harley act more like , then I would give them the choice. She was the only one that I really had to think about. By the way, I have been trying to boost your karma back from that old member who was villainizing you. I thought it was so weird the way that I saw someone with more karma than you .

I went for Ivy but i think that each character from BTAS/TNBA should of been given an ending as i found that BB was amazing but this is always to me an untold chapter in the Bruce timm series!

Definately The FireFly, he would be cool to see and him throwing around a flame thrower in the future and just to see a new design on the suit would rock, second would be Killer Croc or The Man Bat

I voted for 2 face-you could easily have had a gang of thugs dedictaed to him too with him still at the helm-being very old obviously but still there it would have ruled IMO

I can't vote, but my choice would be Scarecrow, obviously. I think with the issues Terry has regarding his past and being a teenager with typical teenage issues, Scarecrow could've really screwed him up!

You did not choose what you would like to vote for in the poll.
It wont let me vote, but I definately vote for Two-face, my all-time favorite character!

I just got the official Batman Beyond guide book on clearance and its awesome. Whats really cool, is that it shows and or describes many villains that did or couldve appeared who all mimic classic characters. Such as Two-Face, Croc, Firefly Etc.! Very cool.

Scott sent that to me. I really enjoyed it. I dug the TNBA one as well. For villains, I have to go with Scarecrow..I had wondered about him...

Inque was pretty close to a female Clayface. I think that you could draw some interesting comparisons between Blight and Two-Face as well. I would agree with a previous poster that mentioned Firefly - the in-air battles would have rocked. ;D

lets see... thubmbing back through the BB guide...
Inque: certainly fits the bill for Clayface. I've also always considered Blight to be very similar to the Preston Payne version of Clayface. J-Man and the Jokerz: are obviously directly linked to Joker (at least visually) and technically as a result of ROTJ the "real deal" was there too. The Royal Flush Gang: (although not the same). Ma Mayhem: (clear homage Ma. Barker and her boys from the 60's tv show). Kobra Cult: (still around) Rat Catcher: ("Ratboy Patrick") The Mummy Tetlecteloti: (could be considered similar to "King Tut"? or at least the resurected mummy chick from BTAS?) Mr. Freeze: still around Stinger: (very similar to "Firefly" in all aspects. Also similar to "Deadshot") Axilano: (very near identical to "Etrigan"?) Terminal: (ultimately new version of "Two-Face")
The guide also refers to the Splicers and picures one that could be considered Killer Croc? Or you could consider the Jokerz "Woof" as a replacement for Croc?
Off the top of my head right now thou I cant think of tranlations for: Stalker Vendetta Shriek Curare Any iideas?

OK, so from what I remember from the show, and watching Season One on DVD, this is where we know where the old Batman villains are during Batman Beyond:
Joker- Dead. Harley Quinn- Still Alive Mr. Freeze- Live as a diembodied head for 50 years until he acquired new body. Bane- Confined to a wheelchair after Venom withdrawl. Ra's Al Ghul- Dead, but took over Talia's body.
This is what I remember. Am I missing anyone?
