The inspiration for that Riddler cover came from this one:

...which I believe is the second ever appearance of the character (he first appeared in Detective #140 1948). I tried to pump up the dynamicism of the poses in addition to making it on model with the designs from The Batman. I also got a little more creative with the crossword puzzle background as you can see. :-)
