generalgrievous - I agree about Batgirl. While the episode worked just fine without her, I feel like her days are numbered due to the always overrated Robin & his debut in Season 4.
I certainly hope they don't just drop her.
One of my favorite things about this episode was the direction. There were plenty of things done for effect, and they all fit in well. I didn't feel any scene was overdone by the directing style. Strange & the reflection from his glasses was great. The passage of time at the manufacturing plant showing (but not really revealing) the construction of DAVE was also done well. The usage of shadows, camera moves, and when DAVE emerges from the elevator shaft doorway (IIRC) and strikes fear into the security - all done well. Two thumbs up.

Does anyone perhaps know when there might be a re-run?

Who knows? Maybe someone will DIE. Or someone's career may be ended by a crazy clown. THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!

You know, since the writer of TB is doing Superman: Brainiac Attacks with the Timm animation, I wonder if they're gonna do the same for TB Season 4. Or just like what they're doing for Legion of Super-Heroes which its a cross between Teen Titans and JLU.

There does seem to be some changes going around, seeing the promos are all of Batman with square jaws, guns are now used, I wonder how it will all turn out.

This was an awsome episode, my favorite one along with the origin episodes of Clayface.

Man I really like his original chin. But the square chin does make him more serious. This episode was already dark and for them to make it darker... Wow, I'm looking forward to it. Perhaps with Robin's parents death? I wonder how they'll develop Robin's relationship with Alfred and Bruce.

Speaking of relationship, what about Robin and Batgirl?

Really enjoyed this episode, and it will be a very difficult summer waiting for all new episodes of The Batman.
I gotta say, it makes Saturday Mornings (hanging out in our PJs and cereal) very real and fun. My wife and son and I spend every Saturday morning watching cartoons and the last one on the viewing list is The Batman.
It really is the one that we all wait for.
DAVE was really something else. I know it was Jeff Matsuda's voice, but man, I really thought he was channeling the spirit of the late Phil Hartman. There were moments when he really sounded like him.
I really like DAVE as a villain (didn't think I would) and The Batman has become a much darker character. The violence is pretty intense for a Sat. Morning kids show (but just tame enough to be acceptable). Maybe BANE will finally return after his LONG LONG absence from the animated series. Surely, his violent battles with Batman can't be that bad!?
LOL.
I also liked the fact that Batgirl was nowhere to be seen. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Batgirl from this series, but this was a Batman episode, pure and simple. Batgirl would have lightened it up too much.
There's a place for her in the series, and when she does appear again, I hope they do it with appropriate build. She's probably gotten MUCH better at what she does.

Hopefully she'll return for a season premiere. Im hoping its another two parter I think with Robin's debut, it'd have to be a two parter.

This was one of the best eps of the series. I hope to see a figure of Dave at sdcc. Robots + Batman = something everyone will definatly buy, using that logic I wonder why they havent released the Batbot yet in america. I like how the show is getting darker. It helps to show Batmans growth into the superhero he is. Cant wait till season 4. DrGreenEvil

I thought his voice sounded familiar... I've seen the Ragdoll episode every time it aired

Speaking of relationship, what about Robin and Batgirl? [shadow=green,left,300]Seeing how they are more like freshman in high school as opposed to freshmen-juniors in college (like they were in the BTAS episodes) they probably won't have a romantic relationship, but it would be a funny addition to the show to have sort of a sibling rivalry between the two. Also, has anyone notice that (correct me if I'm wrong) Batgirl has NOT appeared in any episodes since "Thunder", which was when she finally got real actual bat-equipment? I hope they don't just drop her like they did with Detective Yin... But wait, wasn't Yin fired at the end of season two for working with the Batman? Is that why they dropped her?[/shadow]

Batgirl hasn't appeared since 'Thunder' partner but we will see more of her I bet. [/shadow]
