I liked this Clayface episode. I was surprised to see that Clayface was not Matt Hagen, but the original comic book Clayface, Basil Karlo. Nice reinterpretation of Clayface. It was nice to see Ethan Bennett back. Maybe Bennett has reformed and Bennett can be an ally again.Seeing Elllen Yin breifly in the Clayface shapeshifting, I kind of wish we had some kind of closure on Ellen Yin and Chief Rojas who basically "disappeared". Maybe a new Batman animated movie or episode could mentioned what happened to them. Good episode!

[shadow=green,left,300] Awesome episode! This one gets a 10 out of 10 from me, glad to see Joker and Clayface again. I have a feeling we might see Yin in the future, but for now I think Ethan has changed his ways for good this time. The new Clayface rocks, nice origin as well. In the beginning I was thinking exactly what Joker said, lol I thought that was really Punch and Judy talking. The ending was surprising, lol I didn't know Joker could play chess, man he would whoop me then. Anyway, I'll have screencaps soon. Great work 'The Batman' Team, this is one of my favorite episodes, can't wait to see more. [/shadow]

This was once again, a solid episode but with some minor flaws that held back its full potential. The only part of the episode I didnt like was when the new reporter was interviewing Karlo, I mean he's a criminal! Why on earth would you do that? But asides from that, seeing Yin in the flashback again was nice as well as the new awesome design of Clayface. I was surprised at the end of what Ethan did *not spoiling* because I thought that Karlo was going to take the antidote. Robin himself was another good addition to this episode, but I was afraid when he said "Gosh, Batman" If Karlo wasnt such a bad actor, this would have been critical. I think the only real let down in this episode was Karlo himself. All in all, another great Bennet episode!
10/10

But I doubt it, hopefully some time we will see Yinzy again, I loved Joker I missed him. I like the neding when he beats Karlo in a chess game and runs away, I can't help but laugh at that. It was a cool episode though, I kind of felt sorry for Karlo that must have sucked to get such bad feedback all the time. [/shadow]

Did anyone else notice in the Diner scene , when the customers were running out they had an animated version of Clark Kent. This was the Christopher Reeve Superman from Superman 2 when he lost his powers. Check it out if you tape it , i'm pretty sure i'm right. BW

Make it 3 for 3 for season 4. Another great episode! I was a little disappointed that it wasn't Matt Hagen but the original Clayface Basil Karlo. By god that guys acting sucked, even with a different look. When he was Robin and said "Gosh Batman, let's go get that creep" I was thinking 'okay, even Batman should know that wasn't Dick." I thought it was funny that when Bruce and Dick were watching a clip from one of his movies that he said "We are so watching that movie" and Bruce got all suprised. That pretty much my reaction when someone says they want to watch Batman & Robin. There is something I don't get though. If Ethan was cured, why wasn't Basil? Or for that matter, is Ethan cured at all? One more thing: once again, they find a way to get Joker in an episode. I thought we wouldn't see him until the Harley episode. 8/10 I don't think there will be any new episodes until November.

I'll have to take a look later since i recorded it. But man another great solid episode. I think what they've improved on this season was the pacing of each episode. I didn't feel rush and it didn't feel to long either. Its good to see Ethan back and closure for his character and man was the action freaking wicked. They also did some plastic surgery on Joker too. His face was smaller and he looked skinnier too. Or may be he's just been dieting. haha

I mean you can totally see the difference in powers and shape shifting ability. Basil Karlo is a totally different brand of Clayface. The cure that they created was based off of Ethan's clay mutagen and not the new one that's based off of Basil Karlo's clay face dna thingy. Hopefully that makes sense but that's just what's I think ;D

This episode was so-so in my opinion. I was surprised that it was Basil. I don't understand that change. He was still an actor, so I am guessing this was a last minute decision to change him to Basil. I don't understand why though. I like the design for Clayface II but I don't really care for Basil's. It is for the best that Ethan is back to normal. It goes against his nature to be a villain. I liked Punch and Judy talking and Joker asking when have they ever talked. The battle of the Clayfaces was well animated and a treat to watch.
Onto some of the weaker parts, it was way too easy for Basil to get his hands on the mutagen. At least Ethan has an awesome way of becoming Clayface, whereas Basil did not. Basil's motives to get a part on a commercial was too campy for my taste. This episode worked to replace one Clayface with another, so by the end of the episode it's a draw. Convenient huh? This Clayface is not the of the sympathetic characters that we have seen from Ethan and Hagen from BTAS. That was one of my favorite parts of those characters.
Overall not a bad episode, but not one of the best.

I liked this Clayface episode. I was surprised to see that Clayface was not Matt Hagen, but the original comic book Clayface, Basil Karlo If you guys paid attention, I kinda hinted at this when the Hagen news came out Hmm..its curious..I had heard that it wasn't Matt Hagen this go around.... Matsuda and I discussed that it was Karlo, so when they were saying it was Hagen, I knew better, but didn't want to say anything. Some surprises are fun, right?

I never even knew of Karlo's origin till now, so it was nice that they did something fresh again For the cameo of Clark, Im going to have to see it, I did indeed record it

Is it really suppose to be Clark Kent with that cameo? Sort of an easter egg thingy? Can you confirm this /\/\att?

To me this was a solid episode, the clayface storyline was never that interesting to me. The only thing that i really like about the clayface storyline is it is a storyline and keeps coninuing unlike other vilains. I have to say robin was a little arrogant in this episode.. he was kinda of annoying to me. This episode is not my favorite, but i still enjoyed it!

Wow... i really, really enjoyed this episode! And the battle of the Clafaces was truly awesome!
I also noticed the cameos of Clark, etc. They were pretty blatant.

This was a great episode. The only flaw I saw was extremely minor. When Bruce was showing Dick old pictures of Bruce and Ethan when they were kids they looked really young, perhaps elementary school aged. But if you watch the show titled "Meltdown" from season 2, while Bruce is on trial testifying for Ethan's release from Arkham, he says Ethan and himself have known each other since high school. Like I said it's a minor flaw and it shouldn't distract from how good the episode was.

Hey Guys! Well we're three episodes in I'm glad everyone's been enjoying the show. I'm surprised how many peopel caught the Superman 2 diner scene. If you compare it to the actual movie, the diner cook, waitress, everyones the same. We had a fun time doing it, it sort of heralds Brandon Rouths episode which should be soon! Oh sweet. Thanks for the confirm on that Mr. Matsuda. And the Clark Kent really resembles Brandoun Routh too haha.

I really loved this episode. Season 4 is amazing, &I don't think we'll be dissapointed with the rest of th series. Jeff & thecrew is doing an amazing job. I think the way that Basil was portray was quite good & suprising. The SDCC video led me to believe it would be Matt Hagan. I really liked the part at the begining with Punch & Judy. It added just the right amount of comedy to the episode. I didn't really catch on to the Clark cameo. I noticed the diner was the same, & that was it. I guess I'll have ta' watch it again. If Season 5 surfaces, I think we've got a chance for the mudpack although it would take quite awhile. Anywho.... it was a great episode. Keep up the great work Jeff.

Clayface vs Clayface was cool. Been looking forward to this fight. Hopefully Ethan can become a kind of ally to the Batman, a good guy clayface. Ok one thing thats starting to bother me is the fact that Gotham PD has basically been ignored. First it was the utter disapperance of Rojas and Yin. And now, with the exception of some refs, Gordon has basically disappeared. I really liked Mitch Pillegi as Gordon. Hopefully he will pop up again. Maybe have a straight up ep of GCPD. Also hope Alfred has some more screen time. DrGreenEvil

I just noticed that Alfred wasn't in this episode. It's hard to develop older characters since Robin has now been developed into the story but I do hope that Alfred, Gordon, and the GCPD do get some on screen time as well.
