<snap> Batlaw - your comments reminded me of something. From a technical standpoint, I cannot even begin to calculate how much binary code would have to be carved into those walls in order to produce an interactive Batman. Maybe that didn't bother anyone else, but I write software for a living and it... kinda bothered me a bit. Hmmmm...from a technical standpoint? It's a cartoon, so that never occurred to me. Maybe an end-of-episode apology to all of the binary-codewriting-Batman fans out there? From a technical standpoint, the whole "Batman" thing doesn't really work, does it? I'm really enjoying the discussion on this episode - it was one of the most hyped of the season, yet it seems to have fallen flat with a few folks out there.

wayneson - Heh. Well...no matter what, I always look forward to the discussions here on LoG after an episode of The Batman.
The series is so much fun to watch, the worst that could happen is that an episode is "ok" in my mind. Never "bad."

Sarcasm isnt Nec. especially since ckrtech was simply referring to a personal association and not sincerely speaking ill of the episode. As for my own personal opinion, until a few eps this season, I never considered any episode of TB to be anything more than just "ok" at it's best. I

Hey Everyone!
I've returned after a much needed holiday lol
I did enjoy this episode and I like TB but the series lacks what say TAS and JL has...
I think TB needs to have more complex/meaningful plots.
As Russel T Davies the current head of DOCTOR WHO says "If you get children at a young age with good stuff later on in life they'll demand good stuff"

I have to say that this was the best episode of the series so far. The story was complex and they actually dealt with some major ideas and went beyond the batman universe.
I hope this is a start of better things to come.

Nice to see future Freeze, but does anyone know what happened to give him spider legs? I wish we had a little more insight on some things, but it didn't make me less enjoy it. 9/10 I don't know if you have the old BTAS or TNBA episodes from the 90s like I do on DVD but here's what's up about Freeze. In BTAS, Freeze had a full body just like he does in "The Batman". In TNBA, which is about 5-10 years after BTAS, Freeze's condition ate away at his body leaving him with nothing but a head on Spiderlegs, the rest of the suit was controlled using some advanced form of technology or something, maybe being commanded by his thoughts and brainwaves... here is a picture of what Freeze looked like in TNBA. (Personally, I liked the fact that he had his torso now, because I CANNOT see someone with just a head... he'd have to be dead. The torso is much more believable.) Anyway, the reason that Freeze was reduced to a torso I believe is a nod to TNBA.

so i just saw it on you know what cause i missed it's premere, and i thought this was the best episode yet! I really liked how they worked the storyline with the two diferent times. One thing im really mad about is they did not tell us who woke up Freeze. I think it could have been a great shock and awe moment if it was someone recognizable, like a desendant of one of the charecters. Anyway i think this could have worked better as a DTV, but otherwise it was a great episode!

I finally saw this one about a week ago. It wasn't bad. Mr. Freeze was the best that I had ever seen him. I wish he was always like that. There were a few good "old people" cameos of Gordon and Alfred. Oracle was very interesting. There needed to be more Nightwing, his voice needed to be darker, and he shouldn't have been quite so much a "buddy" to Batman. I guess that would be a lot to cram into the episode, but that is what would have made this episode better.

I didn't see that much "wrong" with Nightwing, even though the voice didn't strike me as the best for the character (but that may be more to the other Robin/Nightwing voices than anything). I still love Dr. Frost and "The Dark Knight Returns" line
