Since no thread was made for this, I'll do the honors. This episode airs tommorow!
Firefly becomes even more powerful when an accident turns him into Phosphorus, a superhot villain who ultimately threatens a nuclear power plant.

This episdoe sounds awesome. I've always liked episodes of superhero shows when you see how the villains came to be, and we have'nt really seen that many in the batman series (don't get me wrong i'm not complaining). Plus i think this may be the first time that we see a villain turn into another villain.

1. They ruined Firefly 2. Too many "hot" puns 3. Teased us with yet another Batsuit we'll never see in figure form.

Anyone catch that Legions of SUperhero episode? BECAUSE THAT WAS GOOD!!! Yeah. This season is really better than the first. I liked today's episode. It gave me a break from the JL teamups and gave me an all Batman episode.

They say that this episode was better than all the other batman season 5 episodes because this was without a teamup!

I agree with Tony, they totally ruined Firefly by turning him into a new villian. Why do they do this? Can't they just bring in somebody new to make into a villian? I like Firefly on the show, especially the fact that nobody calls him Firefly, ex. Bumblebee LoL...
The "new" suit Bats wore at the end reminded me a bit of AZ-Bats with the red eyes and all, pretty cool.
It was great seeing a Non-Team Up episode for once, and I enjoy the interaction between Robin and Batgirl, pretty funny stuff there.
7.5-10

It was okay. I liked getting insight into who Firefly is/ was as a person, but I really felt as though Phosphorous's origin could have been written for anyone. Still, the evolution of his character from generic sideline threat to an all-powerful supervillain was a nice touch, and shows that the series has matured a great deal since its debut three years ago.
I'm going to score this a bit differently:
STORY -The story was generic, but it worked -The final scene was somewhat touching, though it seemed forced -The lack of a JL character was also nice
7.5/ 10
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT -Nice to see who Firefly is -The evolution from Firefly to Phosphorous was well-done -Blaze was annoying/ too generic -Batman, Robin and Batgirl's chemistry was very good
8.5/10
WRITING -Straightforward plot was a plus -We could have done without all the hot jokes -Every essence of each character was well developed
8/10
TOTAL SCORE: 8.0/ 10

It was an okay episode and it was a nice break from the team-ups. I don't know what to think of the season so far, but I will continue to look forward to new episodes, and it doesn't look like there is one next week; that's the problem with only 13 episode seasons

Taking a break from the JLA and having a straight Batman ep was good. But they did destroy Firefly. Introing a new villian would have worked just as well, maybe even better. I really liked Firefly. I was really hoping to get a Firefly/Gearhead teamup eventually. But I guess that wont happen now. That would have been really cool. Good to see Batgirl. Not that impressed with the leadlined batsuit. How Bruce didn't get led poisoning when Phosphorous melted it off with him still in the suit I want to know.
