Hi guys ( and gals ) I just wanted to put this out to the floor to see what everyones situation is. As many of you know i collect both new and vintage toys and because of that i had to get real creative as far as real estate is concerned in my toyroom. Does anyone here experience these problems with space and if so how have you addressed it? To keep it retro i've decided to complete my Batman Animated line. I've been putting it off for a few years now so its time to dive right in to what is possibly one of the top 5 lines ever to grace the shelves. It's certainly one of my all time favorites right up there with Mego's Worlds Greatest Superheroes and Super Powers.

I am dying to have that problem i tell you.All my collection is in boxes but when we finally buy our next house i will be building a custom enclosed shelf display for it all. I did that at our last house we owned but my collection was swelling beyond breaking point so hopefully i will learn from my previous mistakes.

[shadow=red,left,300]I've run into that problem a few times in the past. Right now, I'm installing more shelves and such to accomodate everything. Still though, there are some items that no matter what I do with them, they just don't display very well, so they end up packed in a box.[/shadow]

My old collection took up a full room in my old appartment. The frustrating thing about having so much in boxes is that you can't see the stuff and enjoy it. It took took too much time to sift through everything just to find what I was looking for and then put it all back. I love the way you have all of your stuff displayed, Roback.

After the kids took over the basement all of stuff went into the rubbermaid, I have a whole room full of it.

No one else has offered, so I might as well - Robert, if you need some additional space, I would be happy to store whatever toys you don't have room for at my house. I'll even display them for you - all free of charge! ;D
Seriously though, I can understand - I only have 1 shelf currently for my Minimates and when C3 is released I don't know what I'm going to do. The wife just might lose some of the space she is currently occupying with her Phantom of the Opera collection. (shh - don't tell her I said that)

It just moves into more rooms of the house. But I try to pack away things I'm not as interested in and just keep out the things I really like now. PJ

True, but they are a real bugger to get in just the right pose. And I hate stepping on the accessories the kids leave lying around all the time.

I've really only got two places to display my stuff. One is the top of a chest where I have my 6" marvel and DC figures. The other is my desk with my computer where I have one main character from the toylines that I like. Everything else is in boxes. Maybe someday I'll be able to put it all out there, but probably not.

a problem all too common... Yes, im running out of space...bt if I take 'em out, how am I gonna display them? I have enough space for the new batmen...I think...I pla to get like 10 more zoids, 5 huge ones, and that'll finish it off.. Plus some other big TF like E megatron and Bulkhead and Landmine... So my batmen have only like 2 slots fully open for them... And then there's the jurassic park to manage...and all the hundreds of dinosaurs...
