[glow=white,2,300]i don't know if this has been talked about before but what is going on with the DK toys packaging? I don't think I’ve ever seen such bland and boring cardbacks in my life. Come to think of it the begins packaging wasn’t something to call home about either but give me a break! whoever let this pass to retail needs to be canned because it's pretty laughable.
what do you guys think? Does the packaging on the figures and such matter?[/glow]

Okay, I'll bite. It's crap for the most part, with only the Movie Masters stuff having any pleasing design aesthetic. The TRU 12" and the Action Cape 13" look fairly good also. The rest is terrible, as fellow member from mwctoys.com said in one of his reviews.

I generally don't like ANY art based off the movies. I posted some DK stickers in the merchandise thread. The only movie based art I've ever really liked was the Burton movies' comic adaptations, those pics were sweet.

Ah, that art brings back memories. I remember when I was a little kid I had a Batman Returns dinner plate and mug, and I know I still have my sleeping bag somewhere.

I was dissapointed with the regular figure packaging, it really does not stand out on the shelves, as most packaging goes you have the logo and or image on the top half of the package... the look is not attractive to those who buy the toys. the movie masters seem to be nice whti the extended packaging and bat logo breaking through.

The only movie based art I've ever really liked was the Burton movies' comic adaptations, those pics were sweet. Aaahhh, takes me back! I had a dinner pad with the same art, exept for the armor and the logo - they were Returns style. We had 3 of those pads - one for me, one for my bro, and one for my sis. We almost tore them apart because of using. And one day my mom gave me a brand new one for the collection! She had kept it all these years... About the TDK packages - they suck! Exept for the MM boxes. It seems like the basic figure packs are just adverts for the new DC/Warner site.
