It looks like the 60's. I think its funny. I'm ok with it, but still it looks funny.
Kinda upset that they are using the new version of the Blue Beetle.
Looking forward to the show. Hopefully it does not interfere with Stargate or BSG on scifi.
But now I really hope that the rumors of it being a continuation of THE BATMAN are false. The designs and (inferred) tone are just way to different that it would just be weird.
Seems the designs had some inspiration from New Frontier, which is something I was hoping for.
Batman looks like he should have a booming, resounding voice from the way he is designed there (specifically his chin).
But after JLU and its toyline, with the show being a teamup show, Mattel is gonna be hard pressed to make a character I already don't have a figure for. Blue Beetle is a good start.

If this is legit, Im not really digging it. The retro Batman look is cool and all, but I dont see this style fitting in with what my envisioning of B&B is. I think a grittier 70's style comic translation into animation would be best. I dont understand this current trend of dumbed down animation.

I'm kind of digging the look of the animation. I like change and something that is steering away from the designs of The Batman and the Timm Verse style of heroes. With this being a first look I can't wait to see more pictures.
And the current version of Blue Beetle with the Silver Age look of Bats and GA doesn't really mesh, I wish they had gone with the Ted Kord or Dan Garrett Blue Beetle.

I like the new look and also I am glad that we are moving away from the Timm-verse.
I think the reason for the current Blue Beetle is just a marketing ploy. Most kids only know the current version, because of the re-launch. Let's face it, BB is not a very familar character.

Matt, isnt Rino Romano voicing Batman in this series as well?
As far as designs, I'm not very thrilled, but the names of the producers, executives and writers are keeping my faith up.

I remember complaints that TT and LoSH were both too "kiddie". From the look of this poster, TT and LoSH look gritty and hardcore in comparison. I know that they are going with a more retro style, but I don't think the timing of this is ideal. They should be highlighting all of the current styles and such to go along with their movie ideas (even if they aren't produced). I guess does provide some change of pace from JLU and TB, but I certainly do not care for the change.

This board is supposed to contain the most hardcore Batman fans ever. You'd think we'd be chomping at the bit and happy as all getup purely at the fact that a new Batshow is coming out.
But are we ?
No. Were already dissing and writing off the show just because we don't like how the premier posters look.
Also alot of "its not the dark verison we've had" or "ITS NOT THE TIMM VERSION!!!!!!!".
I really don't see why yall are all scared right now. Yeah the look might be retro, but theres nothing else saying that the tone and setting of the show will be retro. Now if Batman had a huge smile on his face in the poster, then yeah, we'd have something to worry about.
I personally am looking forward to this show. I've always thought that this kindof format would be a good way to help DC introduce the wider aspects of itself without just retreading the JLA idea.
And especially since its being teamed up with the new Star Wars show. Add that to Stargate and BSG that scifi rotates in and out, and you have a decent viewing scheduale for friday night.

I don't know how I feel about it, I really need to see the animation in action.
I am always all for different takes on the Dark Knight and the Dc Universe, though. I'll reserve my judgement for the first trailer!

It is cool that we finally get to see Blue Beetle in animation. He looks pretty cool too. I notice the 3 heroes on the poster are non-super powered (forgive me if Blue Beetle has super powers, I am not familiar with his character). This could imply that there will be a focus on the non-super powered. That would be interesting.
