Thank you soooooo much! Strangely...dark and serious for a Lego comic. I like the way TLC is handling the license.

I really like the smile-bombs that Joker comes with, and something about how the outside of the villain's hideout really appeals to me. It just looks so cool!

Geez, I totally overlooked the smile bomb/ minifig head piece. From the box art they look like they're included in the actual set. More MOC figs!

I'm not that familiar with LEGO...do these come out on a regular basis in the mag or it is a one-shot deal?

I hope they come inside the boxes. That would be neat. The comic reminds me of that fan film by Dave School called Batman New Times. I remember Bullock (I think) putting a post about it. Here's the link to view it at their site. At one point you could request a free DVD of films and it had the Batman one on it. www.daveschool.com/MoviePages/MovieTheater.htm Oh yeah, Adam West and Mark Hamil provide voices. And for you ipod owners you can download it here: www.daveschool.com/index.htmscroll down.

I'm not that familiar with LEGO...do these come out on a regular basis in the mag or it is a one-shot deal? In the regular (free) Lego mags there is usually a several page comic style story. These have been done with both CG and photo minifigs. Sometimes, as was the case with Alpha Team, the theme is featured in a 2 part story. Now, everyone raise your hand if you'd want to see an on going Batman storyline?

If it's another Brickmaster exclusive thing Matt, I will send you scans. *sigh*, March seems to far away.

Very cool, thanks reideen ! Wish my issue would come; I received the surprise set early last week though so it can't be long now. Too bad it's only two pages, however the pictures certainly make up for it!

Brickmasters receive a "surprise set" along with a special bi-monthly magazine. The surprise sets can be obtained from other places, however not always retail stores. Some of the sets I've got in the past have been only available in Japan (two single packed Knights Kingdom figures and a catapult) another was only available when you pre-ordered two "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" sets from the club magazine (a mini-model "Night Bus"). The one I got for this month was the new red matoran, named Balta (set # 8725), from the Bionicle theme.
