7782 Batwing: Joker's Aerial Assault Click Here For GalleryThis is the fourth set in the LEGO Batman line, at $49.99. The Batwing in this set is very impressive. It resembles the Batwing from the 1989 Batman film, and looks like the bat symbol if viewed from the top. The rear halves of the wings can tilt up, and small levers can be pushed forward to expose missiles. If you press down on the tail, a spring-loaded missile launches out automatically. If you aim carefully, you can hit the spotlight on the Joker Copter and knock his ladder off. The canopy is hinged and tilts forward. There is storage for Batman's gear, but I was disappointed at the lack of controls for the Batwing. There is a flat space just below the canopy that a sticker could be applied with "controls". The Batwing has a rack with a ladder that it launches from, and it makes for a nifty display stand as well. The Joker Copter has lots of nifty features. The canopy is hinged, and the cockpit has room for both Joker and his henchman. There is a spotlight on the front of the copter, where the ladder attaches. There are two panels on the sides of the copter that flip down to expose weapons on either side. There is an opening at the rear of the fuselage where you can put Joker Bombs" Pull the pin, and bombs away! This set includes a gray & black suited Batman, Joker, and his henchman (it looks like the same guy who works for Two-Face.) This set includes a small polybag containing the weapons. Included are handcuffs, a pistol, "tommy-gun" submachine gun, 3 batarangs, and two bat-shuriken that can fit onto the tip of the pistol.

aww man, I have only gotten one set and I wont open it until I have one more.
I know a lot of you are going to live on bread and water to be able to afford these sets. so will I...cry!
Nice review btw. really like the comics. I just realised I missed the opportunity to make some interior in the Batwing, truth is that I forgot. But since you like the interior of the Batmobile, then perhaps you should get one more of those and put those stickers into the plane....
another thing, the "Bat-fan" is brilliant. I never thought of that!

Dont you guys get a lego dicsount card or something? I WISH! Even with the freebies they've given to me, I'll still be spending lots of $$ on more sets for the kids! Heck, while I was in Enfield at the company store I spent close to $200! That's at employee store pricing!! (SHH! Don't tell my wife! ) In all seriousness, I cannot speak highly enough about the LEGO team. They are what all companies should aspire to be. The way they interact with the community - both in their 'home town' and fans - as well as their customer service is something to be commended. I WISH my company was as good as they are. Going to Enfield showed me just how far my company has to come. It was truely a humbling experience from a sales and service aspect.

I do get a 30 % discount when I buy Lego products, but when I have 2 get of each, then it still ads up.
Plus there's to many cool Star Wars sets out this year. Damn you LEGO, leave my money alone...oh wait!
