It looks smaller than I expected but it still looks like a nice set. It looks a bit too much like Harry Potter to me. One question though, is that a trans-green head on Scarecrow? If it is than I would have preferred the tan one that we saw in the Toyfare mag.

No wonder Arkham Asylum has a revolving door policy. The guards are holding the prisoners at bay with musket rifles.

One question though, is that a trans-green head on Scarecrow? If it is than I would have preferred the tan one that we saw in the Toyfare mag. Its actually a trans-sickly yellow gross color that ends up looking pretty good. You can't tell to well from that picture, but I will try to get some better pictures of the figs for you all. Steve

This set would have a lot cooler if it had a Hugo Strange minifig, but I'll still get it anyway

I want this so bad! It's like a dark version of their Hogwarts set, hehe. Finally, a Scarecrow lego!

I dunno, i know i am in the minority here but there are far better things to spend your money on. The prices for them here is ridiculous. I really dont get the Lego thing at all.

Thanks for the pics guys, this is now at the top of my "must have" list ! Lego seems to have put allot of play and display value into this set. The alternate model(s) will be interesting to see.

I dunno, i know i am in the minority here but there are far better things to spend your money on. The prices for them here is ridiculous. I really dont get the Lego thing at all. I can certainly appreciate that Jasby. I think there are many people who don't get the LEGO thing. There's just a very vocal contingent (led by Blocko and myself) who are all over the LEGO sets! ;D I think the attraction, for me at least, is size. I have the ability to have multiple characters, Batmobiles, the Batcave, Arkham and the Batwing, all on the top of my computer desk. Can't do that with Hasbro/BTAS stuff, Mattel, or DC Direct. Since I'm cramped for space, what with a wife and all my kids, it'sa great way to display characters that I love and not take up too much room. Besides the fact that LEGO is just plain cool from a play standpoint. I can give LEGO sets to the kids and not worry that an arm or leg is going to break off. I don't really have to worry about how much the value of the set will be 10 - 15 years from now, since I'm all about playing with the bricks. Minimates and C3 were really the beginning of my going down this path, so I guess, in the end, I owe Art Asylum a word of thanks for turning me onto LEGO again. ;D

While Lego is expensive, the quality is undeniable. I love that I can create my own scenes. Just picked up the 1st Batman Chronicles TPB. it's really cool to have Batman battling baddies on a castle tower. If you like MOC figs, Lego really may not be your thing. It's fun and playability, pure and simple.

That really does look pretty great. I think I may have to finally buy another big Lego set. i like that bike and I love the fact that it has guards and an ambulance.
That's what's so great about Lego; they have the ability due to the format (sets with lots of little guys) to add the incidental/unimportant characters that lend an air of believability to their stuff.

I'm sure I will probably buy the set for the Riddler, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, and Nightwing, but I'm not too thrilled with the set. It looks too simple for what I'm probably going to pay.

Anyone *cough* Reid*cough* know the price? I'd have to double check my notes from the LEGO trip, but off the top of my head IIRC Arkham was $79.99.
