Most people are amazed at how small the Batman's head and hands are, so I decided to fix it. I swapped the head and hands from Mattel's Action Cape Batman with the DCD, and ended up with a much improved hybrid figure. It wasn't quite the "pop and swap" I had hoped for, but it didn't really take that much work either. After carefully removing the Mattel vinyl head and plastic gasket underneath, I had to drill out some of the plastic to fit onto the DCD's ball joint. The hands were cut off the Mattel figure at the wrist and small holes were drilled 3/16" into each hand. The head retains full articulation, and the hands holds the Grapnel as if made for it, particularly since I cut each index finger apart from the others with an x-acto knife. Here are some photos - compare the Mattel right hand to the DCD bendy attached to the figure's left wrist:
