I'm starting to like this show. I really like how they are allowed to use some of the characters that were previously off limits. Plastic Man and Blue Beetle will be fun. I just wish they could have been in JLU.

Robin (although theres some sideways talk that there might be a twist to this)

And plus theres a female flying around shooting lightning bolts in the preview video that I can't ID.
And theres a girl with pigtails and a purple mask on the mattel slides
Man!!!!!!!! Just an explosion of characters this weekend.

UPDATE: It has come to my attention through the SDCC Batman panel report that Bat-Mite will also be in the show. This the first character mentioned that I am actually uneasy about.

add Kanjar Ro to the villains. Mattel showed his figure at SDCC and he was in the reel clip that was played there as well.

Which figure was Kanjar Ro ? The only villains I saw were Black Manta and Ocean Master.

The only villains I saw were Black Manta and Ocean Master. you must have seen a different panel and set up than i did. all the sites i've seen the pics of the display and panel didnt have Ocean Master. Batman, Blue Beetle, Aquaman, Red Tornado, Black Manta, and Kanjar Ro make up the first series of figs and those were the figs that were shown. you might be confused about who Kanjar Ro is and how he looks and you're mistaking him for Ocean Master. here's a link to some good pics of the figs: i.toynewsi.com/g/index.php?mode=album&album=2008_SDCC%2FDay_3%2FMattel%2FBatman_Brave_And_The_Bold%2F&dispsize=600&start=0Ocean Master isnt shown in any of the pics. and if you watch the trailer that was shown for the show you can see Kanjar Ro in it and you can see that the fig of of him. the face and head is a dead giveaway for Kanjar and the figure looks nothing like Ocean Master. and Aquaman isnt that popular that Mattel would put 2 Aquaman villains as the sole villains in series 1. none of the solicitations for the line list Ocean Master in series 1 either and he may not even be in season 1 of the show. |

here's some pics to show you. please post a link to Ocean Master fig pics, if you saw a different fig than the one i'm posting here. Kanjar Ro figure:  Kanjar Ro as he appeared during the Silver Age:  Kanjar Ro as he appears now:  Kanjar Ro as he appeared on Justice League and JLU:  and here's Ocean Master:  the figure is Kanjar Ro, not Ocean Master. but like i said, if this fig is something different than you have seen, please post a link to the Ocean Master fig, because i'm interested in seeing how he'll look on the show. in Justice League he wasnt in costume, so hopefully in this he will be. |

it looks like their trying to stay away from batmans villains, but I would imagine they would at least do joker at some point, I mean the show is called BATMAN so youd think they would put at the very least joker. maybe in another season.

Granted, in the teaser trailer Batman and Green Arrow are running through a giant clock, but to me that doesn't just automatically mean Clock King. You never see him.

You never see him. he's supposed to be in it. i would assume it will be the William Tockman version, but it could be the current version. we wont see the DCAU version of the character though. he'll probaly be in the episode with Green Arrow, seeing as how he's a Green Arrow villain. |

I think they should try to use the Batman villains as much as possible. Bruce Timm made that mistake in Justice League. Stupid Bat Embargo. I'm still bitter.

I was referring to the fact that Timm tried not use many Batman villains during the first few seasons of JL. Then they placed the Embargo. Timm missed out on utilizing Batman villains in the series. We got Clayface and Joker and a few B villains. The point I'm making is that when you have access to good characters, you should try to implement them. |

Wow, they're gonna use Kamandi? That's cool, I love Jack Kirby's art so that should be neat to see. I also look forward to Bathound, seriously, ha ha!
