the game looks great, but there are going to be a whole lot of problems, as this game is currently set to be a PS3 exclusive. the PS3 has the worst online in gaming, mostly due to it being free and not maintained, and very virus prone. the only thing that might save this game is the fact that it's a MMORPG and a seperate company handles the online, and you do have to pay a monthly charge, so it might be maintained and handled well. we'll have to see more as it gets closer to it's launch and see what occurs.

actually I read that it's PC-based also.
SOE has done very well with MMORPGs in the past (ever hear of a little game called Everquest?) and I don't see a problem with how they will handle DCUO

probably in the 12 to 15 dollar range, that is what is charged for most these days
And it all depends, most offer like 3, 6 or yearly pricing structures which make the price less
I bought my lord of the rings online subscription for a lifetime membership at 200 bucks. I know thats alot of money, but after so many months, its like playing for free compared to the other prices

Man between this and the new Batman Arkham Asylum game looks like things are going in the right direction for DC Comics video game line.
I wonder how many DC Comics Villians and Heroes will actually be in the game? Does anybody know? It would be cool to see Swamp Thing

This is going to be sooooo cool!
I never was into things like Pirates online or World of Warcraft or stuff like that, but this looks like something I would play!
It's probably about 20 bucks, but that's a good price! Can't wait to see more!

This looks cool!! There are a lot of Batman games coming out. Lego Batman, Batman Arkham Asylum, and this!!! Plus, I think they're making a TDK video game.

I would!
Ps3's are so expensive and they will come out with a new one in no time. But with computers, they are getting cheaper and cheaper as the days go by.
Plus if you updated your computer, you could do more on LoG:)
But I am really looking forward to this game though. Any more updates?

Any more updates? its actually cheaper to buy a PS3 than to update a computer for gaming. if you dont have a computer made for gaming it'll cost you around $2000 to get it to where it will be able to even run the game, and depending on how good you want the game to look and how smooth you want it to play it may end up costing an additional $500-$1000. |

This sucks hardcore, because I don't think I'll ever play this. I don't have a PS3 and my computer isn't set up for gaming, and I doubt the wife will allow me to splurge for either. Once again I'll have to live vicariously through everyone else! ;-)

Hey guys. I haven't payed attention to this thread since it wasn't coming out on 360 but I recently decided that I would be getting it for PC. ;D I look forward to playing with you guys.
BTW, it's coming out at the end of April.
So anyone got any characters in mind? I've been thinking of becoming a vigilante in Metropolis named Zero.
