Usually we think R.I.P. means Rest in Peace, but could it mean something else, like Riddler Ivy Penguin? What do you think it means?

Rest In Peace i'd say.But then Bats wont die what's ment to happen to him is ment to be worse than death,if he's addicted to Heroin or Crystal meth,Morrison's going down on my list.

Morrison really is dropping the ball. he's ruining a character just to do it. i had thought maybe he had changed from what to happened to him after he wrote X-Men, butonce again he didnt do research, doesnt know the characters he's writing and doesnt respect the writers that came before him and will come after him. it seems he solely just wants to get a rise out of fans and do extreme things that will get him bad mouthed and talked about. he's back down on my list too. he was down and started to come up alittle, but now he's close to the bottom again. |

if he goes down the route of batman being a junkie then i think that i shall be contacting DC to complain. Batman is an icon that young and old read and if Morrison is to do sumfin like that then he should be sacked.

he wont stay a junkie. this arc takes place before Final Crisis and in Final Crisis Batman isnt a junkie. so it wont stick around.

Does anyone else think Morrison's comics are getting to wierd? His compicated conspiracy story archs with batman having halusinazations are really getting anoying.

So it takes place in the past? i guess you can say that. the exact present of the DCU takes place in Final Crisis, so everything that's not a tie-in to that takes place alittle before it. R.I.P. was supposed to have finished the same month Final Crisis began, but things got changed around and DC moved up Final Crisis to compete with Marvel's Secret Invasion. |

What i want to see is batman solving crimes, fighting villians like joker and two-face, well written dramas where you are constintly geussing who the killer is. Not more of the same moody bruce wayne being the mask for batman, and batman having wierd dreams and visions. In other words, I want to see what DC stands for, DETECTIVE Comics, not Dwelling in the subconscious tripy mind of batman as he tries to find his inner self and becoming the monster he is fighting comics. |
