I'm not trying to be rude its just, look around. Now granted the "Batman: B&TB Character List so far..." has been getting alot of "I hope/wish this character shows up" posts. Which makes me kinda mad, it was for officially announced characters. And those could throw someone looking at the thread off but still. Theirs also a ton of press releases.

This is gonna sound arrogant, and I'm really sorry, but just look at my posts in the thread to know who is on the show. I'm the only one really keeping up with it. And I've never really considered Gentleman Ghost a batvillain.

gentlemen ghost is a bat villain?> never heard of him...details? And I've never really considered Gentleman Ghost a batvillain. then you dont know the character. he is a shared villain of Hawkman and Batman. he has appeared in alot of Batman issues. also that Wikipedia article that was posted is horrible, and just shows you why wikipedia is so bad and so inaccurate on so many things. he was Hawkman villain for awhile and then went on to become a main Batman villain for alittle while, before disappearing completely and returning to Hawkman, but not as a ghost. he then regained his ghost form and became an ally to Hawkman, when Hawkman moved to St. Roch. so yes, Gentleman Ghost can be considered a Batman villain. he's not really one anymore as he hasnt faced Batman in some time, but any longtime reader will tell you that Gentleman Ghost is a member of Batman's rogues gallery.

Well comics aren't part of my background only tv and movies and I have only seen him on JLU bothering Hawkman so as far as I know hes just a Hawkman villain. thats not sound logic though. alot of times movies and television change the things that they are adapting. now Gentleman Ghost is a Hawkman villain, but he's also a Batman villain. also if you're going by JLU, then his appearance on the show makes him a Justice League villain, which he is not. and if you base Batman's rogues on who he does and doesnt face in television programs then you're going to be thrown off and incorrect on alot of things. Ragdoll is in no way a Batman villain, and has never once encountered Batman, yet he was a villain on the show The Batman. just because a tv show does something, it doesnt make it accurate.

But if all you watch is the tv show, thats what you know. Thats whats correct to you. In that case Ragdoll is a Batman villain.
But you are right, that going by this logic Gentleman Ghost is a JLU villain. But at the same time, who hasn't been a Justice League villain.

But at the same time, who hasn't been a Justice League villain. in the capacity that you're talking, Ragdoll is a The Batman villain, as he's only a villain of Batman from that show, and nowhere else. just because you know something, it doesnt make it correct. to take a line from Men in Black, 500 years ago everyone knew that the Earth flat. personal knowledge isnt always accurate. Batman's rogues gallery comes from the comics and nowhere else, as everything else is an adaption. i completely understand that you dont read the comics and just watch and shows, and there's nothing wrong with that. but you cant say that a character is not a Batman villain, who clearly is, just because Batman never faced him in a television program that you watch.

I assumed he was a Justice League villain because he was on JLU and I remember him from an ep of the Super Friends, but what you say is true, the cartoons do change things a lot. Just because someone is a villain of a certain character in a cartoon, doesn't mean that's how it was in the comics. Another example of this is Vertigo. He was a Green Arrow villain but he was in an ep of BTAS. I'm sure there are tons more examples, I just can't think of anymore right now
