I'm lovin' this show! Seriously. I was abit suprised at just how good this episode was. I think it was way better than the first. Definitely a great follow up. I am, once again, very impressed with the animation. Especially with the fireworks in the opening segment. Thats another thing Im really enjoying. The James Bond style openings. It was a cool treat (haha) to see Fire appear and lend a hand. The plot was very "Saturday morning" but it fits with the show and also with Grodd as the villain. Thought Plastic Man was hilarious. I actually laughed out loud at afew of his lines. Batmans characterization is excellent. hes the serious crimefighter and also shows some humor. Not overdone, imo, but just right. Enough for the viewer to get a chuckle. It was cool to see the Batplane in this, very neat design. I also like how they are able to throw the bckstory of the secondary hero in these episodes so that the viewer can learn who they are. It never ruins the flow of the show and they fit it in pretty well. Overall Id rank this episode an 8. Im very much looking forward to next friday.

It was soooo hilarious! It was also a good story. Much better than the first episode. I am quite surprised that Batman fought Gorilla Grodd with Plasticman instead of the Flash, though.

Yeah, this episode was wicked! I am loving this show. I hope they keep it up because if alll of the other episodes are as good as the first two, this will have a long run, I can feel it. Anyway, one of my favorite things about this eposode was it had a Bat-Villain in the beginning, Gentleman Ghost. They did an awesome job with him. Also, in the last episode's review topic, someone said something about Batman having an eyebrow on his suit. I checked it out and he does, it's pretty cool, reminds me of the '66 TV show when they drew "eyebrows" on his mask. But it kinda tells you bat's emotions, because otherwise you really couldn't tell. Another good point was the origin story of Plastic-Man. Too bad it had to be Batman's fault though. But I like his comeback "There's no upside to a life of crime". Finally, this show has awesome graphics. Especially in certain scenes (like the scene with the Bat-Wing), it's almost 3-D! It's IMAX quality stuff. Does anyone know who that green girl from the beginning of the eposode that saved Batman was?

Yes, that was Beatriz da Costa a.k.a. Fire. She had first appeared in Superfriends #25 as the Green Fury with the Global Guardians. She later changed her name to the Green Flame and then finally settled on Fire before joining Justice League International. Recently, she was seen as a member of the organization Checkmate along with Mr. Terrific and Alan Scott/Green Lantern. Her most recent comic book appearance was in the DC Final Crisis one-shot, Resist.
Be back with my review of the episode in a bit!

This show just keeps surprising me on how good it is. I thought it was funny when Batman was thinking about ejecting Plastic Man out of the Batwing (which by the way, has a sick design!). Keep it coming guys! ;D

The episode was great, but I also didn't care for re-imagining Plasticman's origin. I missed the first episode! Did we get to see a mask-less Bruce yet? Bat-Gorilla was also awesome. They should release a figure of him. There should be more figures of Gorillas in the world anyway. I'm in my 30's and it really felt like an old-school Saturday morning cartoon like the ones I grew up with, just with much better animation. I'll have to get used to Bat's new voice and color scheme again. I usually prefer a darker Dark Knight. Hopefully he'll stay out of the daylight more in episodes to come.

I have read somewhere that Batman will only be appearing in costume during the length of the series. Bruce Wayne himself will not be making any appearances.

Loved this ep. I have to agree with Plastic Man, I don't think I have ever seen gorillas riding pteradactlys stealing a yacht with harpoons. "These things never happen to Superman!!" Plastic Man was awesome and Tom Kenny was perfect for the role. Grodd was cool to. One of my only gripes is this ep might have been a little to moralistic. Fire and Gentleman Ghost were cool to.
