I have to say that this episode had me watching with a raised eyebrow. I absolutely loved the intro segment with Faust. The main story with Aquaman caught me completely off guard with the way they did good ol Arthur. I did not expect this wise cracking, muscle flexing King of Atlantis. I was so use to the JL animated version where he was a pr!ck. Even in S:TAS he was not a very nice guy. He pretty much hated the "surface dwellers" and wanted nothing to do with them unless absolutely necessary, and even then he needed convincing to do so. Same goes for Superfriends and his single adventures, Aquaman was pretty much a straight laced guy. This show, actually gave him a personality that fit in perfectly with this series tone. At the end of the episode I actually had an interest in this version of Aquaman. I looked at him as an actual hero. Black Manta I always thought was a cool villain, and they didnt disappoint in this episode. Manta was a bada$$.
I havent been disappointed in any of the 3 episodes, and I look forward to the future of this series.

I thought he was really obnoxious and the voice actor was totally over the top. Manta's voice was good though. I would've enjoyed a full ep with Atom/Faust much more

I can't seem to decide whether I liked this one or not. The opening with the Atom & Faust was awesome, but this new Aquaman is just annoying. I was seriously hoping that Ocean Master, or the Black Manta would kill him, so Batman could return to the surface & do something worthwhile. Otherwise, it was quite enjoyable, Black Manta was really well done. I'm not too familiar with the Ocean Master, something about his suit makes him look like a lagoon dwelling creature. Good episode. I'm begining to get used to the new Batman, I like it quite a bit.

This episode was another great Brave and the Bold episode! The intro with Faust was totally cool! I mean for a few seconds there, I thought Batman was actually doing"magic", I thought maybe it's some far off third world country technique he learned. But nope! It turns out it was just the Atom helping him out! Then we went to the actual episode. The beginning with the Bat-Wing (with Bat Head Battering ram) turning into the BatSubmarine (with Bat Head battering ram) was pretty wicked. I loved the team up with Aquaman, he and Green Arrow, and Green Lantern are my favorite team-ups with Batman, they are always something to see. Anyway, the Aquaman's brother character who seeks revenge on his brother because he didn't get the throne but his brother did and so teams up with an enemy to defeat brother and said ally betrays him was classic, and I loved it. Also, I loved all of the cute little sea creatures, especially the dolphin that ends up saving Batman. I think they did a great job on Black Manta. Overall, Great!!! Can't wait to see another, hope they keep up the good work.

I enjoyed this episode as much as I have with the previous two. I really enjoy how Batman is portrayed as this "Ultimate Superhero Crimefighter", who has a plan and means for almost any situation, with his keen senses and arsenal of weapons. And he's very much the tough guy...tackles a bunch of giant alien space pirates with his bare hands in one episode, a school of mind-controlled sharks in the other, without so much as hesitating. Also, I love the vehicle designs, making it their own while using the George Barris Batmobile color scheme. And the Bat-Plane transforming into a Bat-Sub? Awesome! I also like the fact that he's a hero with a history with so many other heroes and villains, as evidenced with his prior beef with Orm.
And as for Aquaman? Yes, this version of Aquaman is vainglorious, no doubt about it. His persona reminded me of Marvel's Hercules. But other than some bragging, if you watch the episode again, he really shows that he is a confident and capable hero.
When Orm says to Aquaman in surprise, "You saved me", he responds, "I'm the King, it's what I do", he sounds more humbled.
Also, the hard-water based abilities didn't bother me at all. I just thought of it as an extension of the water spheres he was able to create in the 60's Filmation series. I thought it was quite awesome, actually.

Good episode. I like what they did with Aquaman. Getting some variation in the character is a nice change. I think the only way that I have seen him played so far is either angsty, as in JLU, or the butt of jokes, like in Robot Chicken. I rather like his egotistical, yet somehow likable persona. I thought the design was a nice fusion of styles, what with the beard. I think Orm could have been done better. He was too typical and I would have liked it if he would have been more morally ambiguous. I loved Black Manta. While watching this episode I thought to myself, "That's kind of like Boba Fett."

I am glad I didn't give up after that lousy first episode. The second and third episodes were both great. One thing I don't like though, is when the stray from the comics. In the comics Aquaman and Ocean Master did not have the same mother. They had the same father and Orm's mother was an Eskimo or something.

This was another good ep. I kinda liked having a classic version of Aquaman back, but still showed that he could be a powerful butt kicker. I thought Aquaman was funny. Black Manta and Ocean Master were cool. Wonder if we will get an Underwater Batman figure with Fluke pack in ? "Fluke... the worlds most annoying dolphin!!!!" I might have liked the opening better than the ep, itself. My only question is... I thought all the Atom could do was shrink. So how was he levitating Batman and floating stuff ?

I like the show but its kind of disappointing that we wont see Gotham city and any of its villains or allies. But i think the show does a good job of showing characters that don't get that much spotlight.
