My favorite episode so far. It was great to see how Batman and Ted Kord interacted. I like how it explained the Dan Garret version as well. It was also nice to see some tension between Batman and one of the guest heroes. While watching it, I was hoping that they could possibly bring Ted Kord back for another episode. I like how it explored Batman as almost a father figure to Jaime, trying to protect him from what happened to Kord. I'm having trouble explaining why I liked this episode so much. Anyone else think this was a great episode?

Anyone else think this was a great episode? I liked it too, and Blue Beetle is one of my favorite characters on the show. Partly because Will Friedle does his voice. Something I noticed when I watched this: since Batman's utility belt blew up on Dr. Polaris, where did he get that Batgrapple to get up to the Batwing?

I'd imagine that if asked, he would say something like, "A detective always has a spare during explosive situations."

Another great ep from a great series.
The opening was great. Blue Beetle's and Batman's friendly banter was hilarious.
The main adventure was really good to. I can't believe Jaime got suckered into the bad guys ploys so easily. It was cool seeing the history lesson and generations of the Blue Beetle. They went more in depth with it that I ever thought they would. Dr. Polaris was cool. Kinda Darth Vader like. Definately way better than his appearances on JLU. That scene was funny to, Blue Beetle trying to talk to Batman while Batman is trying to deal with Polaris. I really want to know who the red guys were that Batman was taking care of when he was talking to Jaime on the phone. Any one know who they were, especially that last one Batman had in his hands ? It was cool to see the Cosmic Crawler or whatever its called. Overall a very good ep. "A table just can't be a table with you guys".
Hopefully we get a Ted Kord Blue Beetle figure in the toyline. DrGreenEvil

Personally my favorite episode so far. I was excited when I saw the preview that Ted Kord was gonna be in it so I was a little disappointed that it was only for flashbacks but it was still awesome. I was hoping that Batman would be teaming up with both Beetles (though I know that screws with continuity). It was really nice to see Dan get a nod in this episode too.

Ted Kord is one of my all time favorite hero's and seeing him in the Brave and The Bold was awesome.
I LOVED the back and forth humor between Batman and The Blue Beetle.
Although the death of Ted Kord was not exactly accurate .. seeing Ted in action was great.
