Not my favorite episode. I didn't really care for Capt. Atom or the Brain. I thought the Brain was far better in Teen Titans as far as design and characterization. I enjoyed the dialogue between Plastic Man and Elongated Man. Aquaman was rather humorous as well, but mostly I didn't care for this one.

Good, but not on par with other episodes. When I heard the Brain talk, I immediately thought of Klaus from American Dad, since they have the same voice actor and nearly the same voice but different accent. But I loved that even though he may have been killed by that disease, Batman just kept fighting until the end. Proves that he's the ultimate bad@$$. Wolverine and Chuck Norris got nuthin on Bats.

Another enjoyable ep.
I loved Elongated Man's and Plastic Man's little rivalry. Kinda wish though that Elongated Man's costume had been more detailed, that it stood out more. Always wondered what would happen if they got into a fight. Babyface was kinda funny, "Grab some of them suckers to".
The banter between The Atom and Aquaman was hilarious.
Atom: It's replicating! Aquaman: Yes, and it's making more of itself, too!
Kinda wish though it had been Ray Palmer instead of the new Atom. I loved how the Atom was just pulling all this scientific equipment like electroguns and microscopes out of nowhere. It was cool. The Brain was funny. Especially when he was in the middle of his diabolical rant and then Batman knocks him over. He's all rollin' and can't get up. I know that shows like this need a quick ending that wraps everything up. But I kinda can't stand it when stories have a "kill the big one then the rest just magically die" conclusion. Its just to convenient. Chemo looked awesome. Loved the addition of the gloves and other stuff that made it ironic that he's a living toxic chemical wearing clothing that is used to clean up toxic chemicals. Really looking forward to Dr. Fate next week. I hope its either Kent Nelson, or they just don't say who it is. Ready to see G'Nort in action. And I really hope this show can make Despero an actually interesting character. DrGreenEvil

It was ok, but I remember Aquaman(at least from the comics) as being slightly more intelligent. Overall it was enjoyable.

What the show tries to do is give all of the characters some contrast to Batman. In and of himself, he is a rather entertaining character. Given how the character is often satirized in popular culture anyway, I like how they are handling the him. It is a good balance, I think, of being clueless yet competent. The show looks for strong personalities. That is why Guy has been seen more than Hal in this show.

I can't decide if I liked them using Ryan Choi as the Atom instead of Ray Palmer, or if I would have preffered to see Ray Palmer. Did someone say Dr. Fate is in the next one? I wonder if they will use the current Dr. Fate, Kent V. Nelson. (A distant relative of the original Kent Nelson.) The one problem with that is that the writer of Countdown to Mystery died before writing the final issue and four other writers wrote possible endings for it but as far as I know, DC has not announced which is accepted in continuity. If I had my way they would combine aspects of all four stories.

I'm not a big fan of DCs recent ethnic house cleaning where they seemed to get rid of old standards and replace them with racially diverse characters. I've kinda grown to like Jaime Reyes as the new Blue Beetle but I'm still a fan of Ted and Dan and I like the way they kind of link them all. As for Ryan Choi as the new Atom, I don't like him. I'm offended that they thought by making him Asian he would appeal to me (an Asian American). I'm all for diversified and racially different characters, just make new ones. Don't do away with the old ones and then give their costumes to a new character and hope I'll accept it. LOL, sorry for my rant...I agree with kilowog52, I would rather have seen Ray Palmer as the Atom in this episode but hey, what are you gonna do?
