From this weeks episode. Im not overly impressed. Its nothing new as far as Bane is concerned. Im anxious to see how the overall characterization is done though.

I'm guessing it'll be over the top and cheesy. I still can't get used to Diedrich Bader's voice.
I actually miss 'the Batman'. That show really tried to take Batman seriously. This show is fun, but it sadens me sometimes that its the only Bat-toon on the air.

I think the problem is that there aren't many interpretations of Bane to choose from. Right now, there is more variety out of previous animated shows than there are in the comics (correct me if I'm wrong here). Given the show's generally old school feel to it, Bane seems rather out of place IMO. I don't care for what it seems they are doing with Bane. I hope to be proven wrong, but I doubt I will. I'll have my fingers crossed.

See, I couldnt get "into" The Batman". There were certain things that I liked, but overall, I cared less about it. Now, with the Brave and the Bold, I absolutely love it and cant get enough.

On this link there is a video showing bane, fighting wildcat. What i don't like about his design is his big round eye's and the zipper thing on his mouth?

I actually love this show and it has it's charm. And Diedrich Bader's voice is actually one of my favorite things about the show. And while this Bane may not be the best interpretation I have ever seen of the character, but I think it's actually a really good looking Bane. I can't wait to see what they do with him.

There is literally something for everyone! lol. Right now its the era of Brave & The Bold..in a few years it'll be onto something else. For now I have my old DVDs of other shows to watch, lol. I love that LOG fosters great conversation, though too. What our community here can do is disagree in an adult way, so that we can actually just talk to each other. I am trying to pinpoint what it is I don't like about Brave..I mean I loved JLU, so its not the other Dc Heroes/Villains that does it...I guess for me it was novel for a few episodes, but now I want something a little more Bat-oriented. I'll admit I have some Timmverse bias, as many of us do. That really feels more definitive for me...but I'm glad that many of you dig the show. One of the big challenges in running a bat-site is covering all the aspects. There's a lot to do ALL of the time, lol. If anyone ever wants to help out, I'm always looking for reporters, especially for Brave. You'll get to see all the pics and video first before the other fans, so there is some perk. Here is the full info for this episode. In this episode, 31st Century Booster Gold travels back 100 centuries to join Batman and become a celebrity hero. In his quest for fame, he unwittingly enables the immortal tyrant Vandal Savage to carry out his nefarious plot of turning everyone into cavemen and take over the world! This week’s teaser gives you a first look at Pain as he takes on Wildcat and Batman. The episode was written by Matt Wayne and directed by Ben Jones. We have great cast this week that features exciting on camera and industry favorites! Voice actors starring in this episode include: Deidrich Bader Batman / Punch R. Lee Ermey Wildcat Billy West Skeets Tom Everett Scott Booster Gold Michael Dorn Kru’ll / Bane Jane Singer Jewelee / Trung

This episode was okay. A couple of funny moments, but overall a mediocre episode for me.

Bane's treatment didn't surprise me.
The main story didn't impress me either. But was that Maxie Zeus there?

It definitely came across as trying way too hard to be different to me, and I didn't care for the animation style at all. I know Brave and the Bold is aimed at a younger audience, but I absolutely love all the elements of the DCU being in there, and they really pull off a lot of the lore really well. It's nice to see a younger audience show that doesn't slack off, and really brings in true elements of the characters and continuity. I think it'll only bring in more fans of the DC universe as these children age, and they'll be brought up on something quality instead of something that just focuses on Batman looking badass and having the best action.
