Fans everywhere are wondering who the new Batgirl is who will get her own series this August. What is your best guess on who it will be?

At first I figured Stephanie Brown. I don't know why. But my vote went to 'new character somehow related to the Kanes'. That would be because Bette Kane (Flamebird) was the original Bat-Girl, as it was then spelled, and she was the neice or cousin or somthing of Kathy Kane, Batwoman. Now, fairly recently, DC has intrduced a new Batwoman in the Kane family, Kate Kane. So it would only be natural for them to repeat the past and make Batgirl a relative of Batwoman.

There's also E-2 Huntress, I'm sure there's a way to bring her in..there's already a version of Helena operating as Batwoman..she could also fit the bill. Guess we may have to wait and see.

well kilowog52 i think it might be just a one shot since i don't see a next issue in september comic list. i like cassandra cain. but to me it doesn't look like the new batgirl is wearing lipstick. alot of people saying she's wearing pink lipstick but i don't see it. i like the new design but i'm hopping cassandra will stay as batgirl.
