I have always celebrated May 27th as Batman's birthday. Detective Comics 27 May 1939 Anyone else feel the same? Happy Birthday Batman and thanks for all the fun you've given this fan since 1965.

Same here. I also celebrated on May 27th. I had a small, but very nice and enjoyable party, pics from which you can see here: batfan93.blogspot.com/2009/05/70.htmlMe and my family watched "Legends of the Dark Knight: The History of Batman" and the BTAS episode "Beware the Gray Ghost" (I felt it was suitable for the occassion - Bruce Wayne and his favourite hero together, and all of that) and we had some Bat-Cake ofcourse. So happy 70th Anniversary to all of you guys!

70 years young and still the most iconic comic character in history.
Respect to Bob Kane and the writers and artists that have given us some of the best comic book stories.
I dont believe that are many comic book heroes that are as fresh and relevant as Batman is after 70 years.
Happy birthday Bats, heres to another 70 years
