Maybe not actually the regular DCU, but he was seen on Earth-12.

yeah, i believe the mini will be taking place on Earth-12. its also a slightly altered version of the character and other characters. in the tv show there's a gang called the Jokerz. on Earth-12 they are the Jokers. it'll be small things like that. i believe the reason is to show that Earth-12 is not the earth of the entire DCAU, just of Batman Beyond.
