Man, I can't believe Joel is still making movies. You'd think he'd quit after that crappy movie he made about 10 years ago. What was it called again? I remember it planted the image of George Clooney's butt and nipples into my mind and scarred me, but what was it called? Oh yeah, Batman and Robin.

I don't think I've seen any previews for this yet. It might be good. Schu isn't all bad. I liked Phone Booth. I'll wait for some previews.

ye seeing some of joel's more serious movies...seeing then pains me because i think of how good he could've done with a series batman movie...or pair of them he probobly would've made more than 2 for sure... he is capable, i wish he didnt choose the campy route he did...

Joel is a good director. He just didnt make the Batman movies fans were looking for at the time.
If you watch the Schumacher bat films, and yes, B&R, there are very brief moments that show what he "could" have done. But even tho B&R was a camp fest, it was still well directed.

if you watch val kilmer act in say...the saint you can see how serious and intense he can be
same with george clooney in the first half of from dust till dawn
i would've LOVED to have seen the 2 actors playing a hardcore batman
batman forever had a *little* bit of that...but batman and robin lost it all

i think it's sad that Joel's movies are being discriminated before they are even seen. Just because he supposedly "ruined" the batman franchise does not mean he doesnt make great movies. He had his vision of batman, it just wasnt one that everybody liked. i think this movie sound fairly good... although it sounds strangley like a movie ive seen before...
stranger than fiction

I heard Phantom of the Opera was good. Anyway, I'll be sure to see this. If it's good, which it probably will be, than I'll be happy, but if it turns out to be bad, it'll be another thing to hold against Schumacher. I agree that he's probably a good director, but good directors can still be idiots. I also like to see Jim Carrey in serious roles, because he's a very good, dramatic actor when not being a raving lunatic on the screen.

Joel is actually a good director! Don't judge him because he did one movie wrong! (Batman Forever was great!)

I just saw it today! It was great (the only bad thing about it was there was way to many sex scenes!!!!!!!). But this proves that Joel can make good movies!

Well, everybody says it's all Joels fault for messing up the Bat-Franchise but think about it, it's also the writers, producers, costume designers, and so many more people's faults!

you don't like sex scenes? Well it's not that I don't like them, it's just too many of them spoil the movie! I mean it's not like I rented a porno. I'd get a porno if I wanted to watch sex!!
