Thanks Harley.
The Dents are narrowing down on TDK as Jackman denies the Dent rumors. Jackman was merely added to the list by some fans because he appeared in the Prestige with Bale & Cain, similar things happened with SR because of Singer's previous attachement to the X-Men films.

I highly doubt he is cast as Harvey Dent I second that.

I move that the nomination be closed & we go ahead & burn the witch. I highly doubt he's Dent

If production is expected to start in the coming months, I expect we'll find out who's playing Harvey very soon. As for Dale, I'll join the other speculators and say that he doesn't fit the bill.

If memory serves me right didn't they have all of the main stars of Begins cast and announced by this time for the first movie? If they start the Dark Knight around March, like they did with Begins, it seems they may already be falling behind. Just my 2 cents.

just because we havent heard of any casting (other than Dale) doesnt mean it hasnt happened.

Baltimore is a bit of an odd choice. Oh Well. Maybe I'll venture up there when they start filming.

Baltimore is an odd choice for a Batman film. Any speculation as for location? I don't think they'd use Baltimore for more shots of Gotham, but they could be shooting some interior scenes there. Unless they're doing city scenes on the streets that they don't wanna do in London or Chicago although that's unlikely too.

Though I don't know what they'd use it for.

Well it was revealed a couple months ago that the producers were looking for water fronts in London, so maybe not in Baltimore.

Or perhapse they'll compile the 2 waterfronts to make it seem more like Gotham as opposed to a recognizable city. they might be using it for a shot of the city like in BB, although that's unlikely seeing as they could do it in CGI.

hm.... Ireland. Definately sounds like at least some of it might take place near Wayne Manor. I doubt that Bruce travels there, unless it's a flashback which is also possible. Thanx Blackgate.

now lets not forget we have the Joker's origin too, so any of those locations could be for him.

I forgot about that. Unless. Nolan goes to a strict aproach & taking it straight from the 1rst 2 stories we won't have an origin. That's a possibility but somewhat unlikely

This is great. I hope they decide to use a suit much like Alex Ross' design, which is what I was hoping for in Begins. Jett from BOF has been saying for a while now they will be minor costume changes. God I hope he is wrong just because he always wants to give himself so much credit.

It's no secret that I really liked the Begins bat-suit a lot, but I would definitely be in favor of a sleeker, lighter, more fabric/armory than rubbery suit for The Dark Knight. As Batman gets more confident in his skills and methods, it makes sense that he would shift to a suit that is tailored less for protection and more for a frightening and symbolic image. Starting out, he needed to worry more about his own physical wellbeing, inexperienced as he was, but now that he has the hang of things, he doesn't have to be so cautious and can experiment more with his image.

Exactly. As he grows more confident & skillfull he won't need ALL that fancy armor. There's a manip from the SSH boards that looks good. It's the Begins suit with a more fabricy look to it. Plus, having the symbol standout keeps the same purpose of the symbol from the comics, which is a target so they avoid shooting him in the head. There' another one that's more intune with the classic suit but retains a militaristic look, I'll post it when I find it again. It looks great & it would be plausible for the film.

[glow=red,2,300]Yeah I like the sound of this as well, (like a suit which has a small amount of protection, like the material in the comics) But the Jokers cozy is defiantly going to be the costume most under rap's, very interested in the news of costume change half way through.[/glow]
