I think the idea Katherine is trying to convey is that we need to make our posts count. Its the quality of your posts that matters, not the quantity. That way, the thread doesn't get so big and take so long to read through!

"DUMPED"
This one starts out with Catwoman breaking into jewelry store and taking some diamonds and earrings. Batman shows up and Catwoman starts running off. Batman chases her for a while, until she drops her bag and starts running at Batman and trying to scratch him. He keeps blocking and finally knocks her down. She crawls toward her bag and says "I don't have time for this. I'm late for something." She then jumps over the ledge and when Batman looks over, she's gone. "So am I," he then says.
We flash to a fancy restaraunt with Selina Kyle at table by herself. Then Bruce Wayne walks in,"What took you so long?" Selina says, "I have a forsive habit about that." They then start to talk about a large diamond that's supposed to arrive at the Gotham Mueseum next week, which Selina takes intrest in. And then they discuss their plans for Valentine's Day for a few days after that.
Back at Wayne Manor, Alfred asks how Bruce's date with Selina was. "It went well. We're going to spend Valentine's Day together next week." "Maybe The Batman could take a night off?" "I've already got that planned Alfred. I don't want anything to go wrong with that night. Selina's a special woman, and is very mysterious." We go to Selina's apartment, where she's looking over her blueprints for the Gotham Museum.
A week passes and on the night when they're transporting the diamond into the museum, Catwoman shows up and takes out the guards. She carefully gets the diamond, and then the Batman shows up. "I had a feeling you'd show up here." "You should know that about me by now handsome." They have another chase through the city, and they stop when Batman jumps infront of her. She then goes slashing away with her whip and claws at Batman. Batman dodges, but get one little scratch, and after his last dodge, he reaches and pulls off Catwoman's goggles. When she turns around and he looks at her eyes, he is shocked to see who it is. She then gives him a highkick and grabs the diamond and leaps off the building disappearing.
"Did everything go to according to plan sir?" "She took the decoy." "Excellent sir. Now maybe you should prepare for your Valentines date with Miss Kyle? Sir?" Batman starts brooding over the building. "Cancel them."
Valentine's Day comes and as Selina waits for Bruce at the restaruant, a waiter comes up and hands her a note. It says "I know" and there's a Batsingnal around it. Selina looks shocked and looks around the room in a paranoid manner. Batman is standing outside with Robin watching her. "You'll get over it." They then see the Batsingnal and shoot a batgrapple and head towards it.
THE END

The only thing I dont really understand Batfan...is the way that Bruce wrote the note...did he not give away his identity as well?? Uhh....I didn't quite think about that part. I'm sure I'll make a good Penguin story. I've done good before.

Hello Harvey- So we have Batman and Batgirl fighting off Ragdoll at Gotham City Bank and Batman beats the crud out of him. The police had already surrounded the buildings with the Commisioner's permission after contacting Batman.
Once Batman and Batgirl come out of the building, Gordon introduces to him Harvey Dent, a new detective in the GPD to Batman.
Comissioner Gordon: I owe you one. Batman: Just try to keep Ragdoll from slipping out of your hands. Comissioner Gordon: Will do. Voice: Friends of yours Commisioner? Comissioner Gordon: Oh yes, Batman this is the newest member of the force, Detective Harvey Dent from Metropolis. Just transferred to the GCPD. Harvey Dent: Bats *holding out his hand and grinning* Batman: *looking at him and in response* Detective Dent.
When not shaking hands and being silent Harvey takes offense. He pulls his hand back nervously and looks at Comissioner Gordon then looking back to Batman to see him and Batgirl already grapelling on the wall.
Comissioner Gordon: Try not to take it personally Harvey. The Bat likes to keep to himself.
We hear the Batwave in the batcave reporting that Joker had just broken into Gotham's Museum of Arts.
Alfred: A break-in at the Museum of Arts sir, by the king of the clowns himself. Bruce: Never thought Joker to be the artistic type.
Batman heads out to fight him. He jumps into his batmobile and rushes to the scene. He sees a police car already there. He enters quietly and opens a door that is creaked open slightly. He sees that Harvey is tied upside down and is slowly descending into a pit of acid (hint: Foreshadowing XP). He hears Joker's maniacal laughter and watches him escape with Punch and Judy as he screams "Hehehe try to untie that knot!" Batman fires his grapel to pull Harvey away so he fell he wouldnt drop into the acid and then Batman uses his batarang to cut the rope and sees that Joker is already gone. Batman warns him to keep away from trouble again. Harvey tries to start an arguement but Batman igrores as he leaves. *the arguement*
H: What were you doing?! I had him! B: Not from my perception... H: I should've known you would try to come and ruin my reputation! You just want the glory! B: I only serve for justice. H: Sure, that's what you want people to think! But under that mask you're just another ordinary person like everyone else so why don't you take it off buddy? B: It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me (lol) H: You're a wisecrack arent ya? B: ...*heads out* H: Yeah just turn and walk away! That's what a superhero would do!
Batgirl arrives as soon as Batman walks out.
Batgirl: Ummm..Im guessing the butt kicking's done?
Harvey enters Joker's lair and talks to him about how he could get rid of Batman. Joker is pleased by this and then tells him a plan (which we dont know of yet).
Next we see Batgirl entering her house at night through her dad's window and as she changes to her clothes in there she hears the front door opening.
CG: Barb? She comes out forgetting to take her Batsuit.
BG: Hey pops. CG: You were in my room? BG: Yeah, you know....studying. CG: *surprised* But its a Saturday BG: Yeah well I guess I just wanted to get the thinking juice flowing, anyways I'll go back to studying in my room.
She closes her door as her father slowly starts walking into his room. Barbara just remembers her suit is in there when all of a sudden CG's cellphone rings and there's a distress call. He heads out as Barbara sighs with relief, and overhearing his call heads out to the area as well. The batwave signals in the batcave while Alfred and Bruce were talking about Harvey's behavior with a distress signal calling from a factory. Bruce hops into the Batmobile and heads to the abandoned ice cream factory. He enters again and there is nothing there but huge tanks of ice and ice cream. The doors close and then he sees Harvey's silhoutte and is surprised.
B: Harvey? H: How's it going Bats? B: You sent the distress signal? H: As a matter of fact I did. And here's the distress.
Harvey tells him how he loathes the way he's been treated and that he wants to be the best then he puts on a gas mask while Punch and Judy grab Batman and unleash sleeping gas.
Commisioner Gordon and a couple forces arrive surrounding the building but don't enter as they see that Batgirl jumps across the buildings to enter. Batman then wakes up tied up to one of the tanks. And on him is a bomb that Joker set up. Joker goes up to Batman and monologues stuff while Harvey snickers in the background. And then Joker says that he plans to leave the both of them in there. Joker, Punch and Judy tie up Harvey as well and get out from the door.
Joker: You know Batsy, I've always wanted to see how you fit those large batarangs of yours in those tiny little containers of your batbelt. *starts trying to pull it off* Stubborn fella, isn't he? Batman: It's no use Joker, it's not coming off. Joker: It's the belt or the bomb *grins and pulls out the detonator* Batman: *with a stern look, presses a few places on his belt and it comes off* Joker: Oooh! So fancy! And would you looky that? *takes out a laser* If I'd left you there with this, you might have escaped like you do every other time! But this time I've pulled out all the stops. It's Joker's night baby!
Batgirl quickly enters through the rough and kicks Judy in the face and then trips Punch and he drops. Right before the bomb ticks Batman grabs Harvey and they all get out in time before the ice cream factory is no more. Harvey pleads Batman to forgive him for what he did and swears his loyalty to him.
Batgirl: Guess you're going to need a new belt. Batman: I'll get it back...
TwoFaces are Better Than 1 (Flip of Fate)
As the story continues, Batman continues his crime stopping spree when after an encounter with the Joker again (then being sent to Arkham and Batman getting his belt back), he and Commisioner Gordon have a chat about Dent's behaviors.
CG: Got the belt back? Batman: In good hands. CG: Good. Listen Batman, I wanted to talk to you about...Harvey. Batman: *surprised* What about Harvey? CG: I don't know. It seems so strange, just the way he's been acting and disappearing. Everything ties in with the Joker. Everytime there's a crime with Joker, Harvey's in some kind of peril. Batman: I understand what you mean... CG: I just want an answer, if you know anything that's been going on that I don't know about. Batman: Commisioner, Harvey is a good detective doing his job. The crime starts, the detective goes to investigate. Joker's appearances are probaby just a coincidence. Joker's a dangerous criminal and anyone could fall right into his hands. CG: What do you mean? Batman: *quickly trying to cover up his error* What I mean is Joker's a devious and cunning criminal. I really think that Harvey's just one of many victims. CG: I guess it would make sense...Ever since Joker's last arrest, Harvey's been doing quite fine work. Batman: He's an excellent cop. CG: Thank you for the truth Batman.
Back in the Batcave
Alfred: I wouldn't find it in the heart of the Batman to lie, especially when it comes to law enforcement. Bruce: I know Alfred, but it just seemed like it had to be done. Harvey wasn't the villain and he shouldn't get punished. Alfred: Sir, may I remind you that he imprisoned you in a chilling ice cream factory with a bomb strapped to your chest? Bruce: It was all because of me I guess. If I hadn't been so...self-centered perhaps who wouldnt have felt offended by me. Alfred: It's your nature, sir, not your fault. Bruce: That's exactly my point Alfred. *looks at watch* I think I'll head in for the night. Alfred: Sweet dreams, Master Bruce.
Bruce is in his room at 2:30 A.M. sleeping when all of a sudden the batwave sounds.
Bruce: There's way too many nocturnal villains in Gotham...
He gets out of bed to see the bat signal in the sky. He rushes over to the bat signal and finds Harvey there.
Harvey: Thought you would see it. *turns it off* Batman: Is there anything wrong, Detective? Harvey: No, I just wanted to thank you for keeping my secret from the Commisioner. Batman: It wasn't necessarily a lie. Harvey: Well, you didn't tell him about Joker. Batman: I didn't think I needed to. You've been through enough stress here in Gotham already.
*The door from the top of the building opens and Commisioner Gordon is running and stops when he sees the two*
CG: Is there something I'm missing out on? Harvey: No, sir, just wanted to thank the Batman here for something he did for me. CG: *looks at Harvey then at Batman* Something's really keeping me more alert these days and I don't know what...*He walks over to Batman* Are you sure there's nothing left for me to know? Batman: What are you proposing Commisioner? CG: That there's still something that I dont know about. At first I just thought about it, then when you talked to me I decided to ignore it, but now it's back seeing you two up here so late. What exactly were you two talking about? Harvey: We were- CG: Let Batman answer this Harvey. Batman: ...Commisioner, it's my fault. CG: Exactly what's your fault? Batman: *hesitantly*I'm the reason that Harvey teamed up with Joker. CG: *opens eyes wide* What?! Harvey: *shocked* Batman!! Batman: If I hadnt seemed so nons- CG: My force is working for Gotham's #1 criminal? Batman: "was"... CG: ...*rubs his temple and closes his eye for a very long time and says to himself* How did this happen....
The scene fades away and enters the scene at the courthouse. Seeing the way Harvey's attitude has changed toward the Batman and being a better cop, the Commisioner decides to put this case into the hands of the law. Bringing Joker from Arkham to the courthouse with Harvey, Commisionger Gordon and Hugo Strange, Batman and Batgirl watch from outside.
Suddenly the Batwave reacts and there is a report of Punch and Judy causing chaos around town. Batman and Batgirl head off to stop them. In court Joker and Dent are both in a tough spot. Then Punch and Judy report that they got the Batman and Batgirl out of the picture.
Joker: It seems that I'm all out of time gang! Catch me if you can!
Joker uses his flower and squirts acid onto the courthouse to haul the guards from coming closer but then Dent tackles him to the ground and Joker accidentally sprays Dent. Dent screams as he covers his face (Dark Nightwing, this is your answer) As Joker makes his hasty exit after Harvey gets off him. Joker escapes on his pogo stick.
Batman and Batgirl continue their fight with Punch and Judy. When they see Joker's silhouette they take Batgirl and throw her as Batman runs to catch her they run away.
Dent is now in a coma. In his coma he is standing there in front of a mirror in the blackness of his mind. On the other side he sees the 'yang' of him and it says "Hello Harvey"
H (Harvey): Who...who in the world are you??? Y (Yang): C'mon Harvey, don't tell me you don't know who I am! H: What kind of game is this?! Where am I?? Y: You're in my world buddy. The world of the darkness. The yang of the yin. I'm you Harvey, and I'm about to clarify things for ya.
After some deep conversation with his other half, Harvey agrees to work with his other half to seek revenge onto those that brought him misery. As he touches the hand on the mirror he wakes up in the hospital. Once his bandages are removed, he sees both sides of his face.
At his home, Harvey gets a visit from Bruce Wayne, they talk about what had happened (since Batman missed it all to fight Punch and Judy) and talk about how Bruce can help. After the convo. "Twoface" puts on his suit and devises a plan. He lures in the Joker into an old building which used to be a busy place. Once Joker sees his face he remarks "Harvey boy! Is that you? You look a tad different! New haircut?" Harvey gets p1$$3d and locks in a cage. W/ the help of his other side's ingenius mind, he presents his trap door that are filled with sharp metals that were used to contruct the area. Batman arrives no doubt as he explains to TwoFace
B: "You don't have to do this, you can still live a normal life." H: How would you know Batman? You've never suffered through this sort of pain! You don't know what it feels like! B: *quick flashback to portrait of his parents* Believe me Harvey, I can relate. TF: Harvey's gone now! Now you're going to have to deal with TwoFace!
TwoFace runs towards Batman and they square off fist with fists and then TwoFace takes out his flamethrower spurring it everywhere. He catches a tiny portion of Batman's cape on fire and while he is quickly brushing it off, Harvey takes out his 'sleep' pistol and injects Batman with a sharp rocket like needle. Batman drifts to sleep. He wakes up to find himself encaged in a bar like the Joker. TwoFace monologues of his plans
TwoFace: On this coin, there are two faces. Joker: Funny Harvey! TwoFace: Perhaps you'd like to be the first to fall! Again, on this coin there are two faces, one will smbolize the monkey *points to Joker* and the other, you *points to Batman. Whoever's head it lands on falls first. Batman: It doesn't make sense. Why would you need to flip a coin if we're both going to fall. TwoFace: You wouldn't understand it Batman, there are 2 of me, yet there is only 1. There are 2 minds but 1 brain. 2 faces but 1 man! 2 minds must at one point must reach an impass! But what happens then Batman? It's the flip of fate! Something you're about to find out about!
He tosses the coin and it lands on the head representing Batman. Before he can pull the trigger Batgirl shows up and kicks him. As he struggles to get up she tries to find out how to get her hero out. When she finally finds a lever she pulls it and misfortunately it opens Joker's cage. he maniacly laughs and dukes it out with Two Face while Batgirl tries to find the other lever. When she does The batman escapes and grapples Joker and then encages him again and then tells Harvey he doesnt need to do this. Harvey tells him that its for his revenge. Without it, he would never succeed in life. With it batman uses a batarang and destroys the trigger and then gets TwoFace. The two criminals are both arrested. While they are both arrested Commisioner Gordon looks at Batman very sternly and it makes Batman uncomfortable as he and Batgirl head to the batmobiles.
*While driving in the batmobile* Batgirl: How did Harvey turn into that? Batman: He let himself become vulnerable. Batgirl: To what? Batman: His sub-conscious. Batgirl: Well I feel bad for the guy. He just moved here and he's already considered a criminal and it's not even his fault *Batman stays silent but flashbacks his memory (without audio) of not shaking Dent's hand, ignoring his comments at the museum, and seeing him in court. Then it flashes back to the batmobile, where Batman's eyes become smaller in a stern way as normally seen in the series as they drive off. Batman: No...it isn't....

"The Scared and the Fearless"
The story begins with the Joker, breaking into Wayne Manor. Bruce goes out to confront Joker. Joker takes out the Joker Putty gun, and sprays him with it. Batman turns into a Clayface. Bruce runs toward the Batcave. Joker follows and takes out a watercannon. Bruce is completely destroyed. Alfred comes down to the Batcave with a broom. Alfred starts swatting the Joker as hard as he possibly can with that broom.
Alfred awakens with a pillow in his hands. Alfred gets up from his bed. He is dressed in a white button up and scarlet pajama bottoms. Alfred goes to check the front door. The door is intact. He goes down the stairs into Batcave. The Joker is nowhere in insight. Bruce is awake, at the computer. He is extremely tired and has a five o’clock shadow.
A: “I see that you are still awake master Bruce. What are you searching for?” B: “Justice mentioned that she was pretty messed up by her old psychologist. I have been trying to find some information on this doctor. So far, I haven’t been able to find… anything. Doctor-patient confidentiality has made things difficult.” A: “I assume that master Grayson is out patrolling the city right now. Might I suggest that you get some sleep? You have been down here for three days. I haven’t had to make your bed for four days. If you keep up this lifestyle, you won’t be around to fight anymore crime.” B: “Thanks Alfred. I needed that. I think I have just about figured out… HERE IT IS! Doctor Jonathan Crane! Now all I have to do is get his profile. He was a world renowned psychologist. According to this report, he was revolutionizing the entire field. He was on his way to success when one of his patients said that they were having extreme nightmares. His practice was investigated, and they found that he had been injecting them with a sedative of sorts. The serum was designed to eliminate a person’s fears. The nightmares were a side effect. After this was revealed, he was sent to Blackgate prison.”
Batman goes down to Blackgate and has a conference with Crane through the bulletproof glass. When he sees Crane, he realizes that he is about 7’2” and doesn’t have an ounce of fat or muscle on him.
B: “I need information on Amanda Butcher.” C: “Well, I do not recall her. Perhaps I could get some time off my sentence if I did.” B: “I’m no cop.” C: “And I’m no idiot. Cobblepot has told me all about her. I find it entertaining that she has become the cop killer.” B: “Tell me what you know.” C: “There is nothing you can do to me in here.”
Batman leaves. The scene cuts to outside the prison, at daytime this time around. Crane is in the middle of the courtyard. Batman is at the top of a hill looking down on the prison. Batman uses his glider (from the Manbat episode) To go overtop of the barbed wire and into the courtyard. The guards do not notice anything is wrong because they are watching TV (an episode of Jackie Chan Adventures).
C: “I knew you would come back. All I could see was your chin, I could still tell that determination would drive you back to me.” Batman walks closer to Crane. Some of the other convicts notice that Batman is in the courtyard. They circle Crane and Batman. B: “I am getting that information one way or the other.” As Batman gets even closer to Crane, Crane pulls out a syringe and injects it into Batman’s neck. All of the other convicts cheer Crane on (if this were more adult, I'd have some heroin addict trying to take the syringe, but I know that Laughing Cats doesn't like that). C: “You are going to see your greatest fears in a few seconds. I was able to isolate what caused nightmares in my formula. Now, this form makes you have a nightmare when you’re awake. I was also able to purify my serum so that a person can not fear.” Crane pulls out another syringe and injects it into his own arm. Batman starts seeing visions of Alfred being beaten up by Bane, Robin falling of a trapeze wire, and Batgirl in a wheelchair. Crane attacks Batman. The crowd starts going nuts. Batman just barely dodges Cranes attack. Crane keeps going and falls down. In doing so, he accidentally injects himself with the fear serum.
The guards from the prison hear the commotion brought on by the prisoners. They break up the scene. Crane at this point is shaking and sweating. One guard says to the other, “What do you think is wrong with him?” The other one responds, “We’re going to have to send him to Arkham to see what is wrong with him. What do we do with The Batman? I say we throw him in a cell and take of his mask.” The other guard responds, "No way! This guy saved my brother's life."
Robin comes to pickup Batman and drives him home in the Batcycle. Alfred goes into Bruce’s room, to a sound asleep Bruce.
A: “Don’t worry master Bruce. I’ll be here when you need me.” Dick enters the room. Alfred does not realize it. D: "Do you watch me sleep too?" A: "Not recently." (chuckle) D: "It looks like I am going to have to get the information from Crane." A: "Actually, I was told that he wants Batgirl to be in charge of this investigation." D: "Why would he do that?" A: "I'm sure he has his reasons."
The scene cuts to Arkham. Batgirl is interviewing one of the doctors (if Hugo Strange is still working there by now, it is him). B: "So what is wrong with him?" Dr: "His body is in a state of shock. He is both was injected with both the scared and fearless serum's. Or at least that is what it said on his notes that were found in Blackgate." A doctor walks by, dressed up as a zombie. B: "Could I see those notes?" Dr: "Unfortunately, they were misplaced. We have searched everywhere for them, but to no luck." A woman dressed up as Catwoman walks by. Batgirl is disgusted at her, but the doctor doesn't notice. B: "Will Crane be able to talk?" Dr: "The short term effects should clear up soon. He will then be able to talk. I can not; however, predict the long term effects." A custodian walks past, dressed up strikingly similar to Spiderman. B: "What is going on here?" Dr: "It is our Halloween party. Every Halloween, we get to dress up as something. My costume is of a Scarecrow."
Crane hears this and has a flashback. He is about nine years old. He is about a foot shorter than any the rest of the kids. He still doesn't have an ounce of fat or muscle on him. He is surrounded by other kids his age. They are all shouting: "Look at the Scarecrow!! Look at the Scarecrow!! The kid that will never grow!!"
Crane awakens from this flashback and is quite calm now. Batgirl and the doctor enter the room. Crane is in a straight jacket. Dr: "This young lady would like to ask you some questions. Okay." Crane nods his head. B: "Could you please tell me about Amanda Butcher?" C: "Amanda was a very private girl. It took me weeks to get to the root of her sorrow. Her parents were killed by a sleeping driver." B: "How terrible. What happened to the driver?" C: "He was presumed dead, but she never believed it. She was in the car with them when it was hit. She was in the middle seat in the back. She said that she remembered red and blue lights out of the darkness, and then BAM! She thinks the police did a cover up. After the incedent, the police chief O'Hara was missing." B: "What is this girl capable of?" C: "She has been training ever since. She has been using the internet as her teacher. She learned how to setup explosives, to snap bones effectively, and numerous fighting techniques. The girl is driven and a genius." B: "I think that is all I need to know. Thank you doctor!" C: "You're welcome!" Batgirl looks back at the doctor awkwardly. Dr: "Come back anytime you need my assistance."
Batgirl and the doctor leave. Crane goes right back to the flashback. Then he has a revelation. C: "If everyone thinks I'm a Scarecrow, then I'll show them I AM!!" Crane summons incredible strength. He manages to rip the straight jacket apart. Crane sees a brick in the corner that sticks out more than the others. He pulls it and sees a tunnel that leads out of the room and into the hall. As he goes through the tunnel, he realizes that it was dug out. He sees all kinds of claw marks, but someone would have had to use their feet due to the restraints of a straight jacket. When Crane gets to the end of the tunnel, he sees the Scarecrow costume that doctor had not put on, and Crane grabs it. Crane has now become Scarecrow. Scarecrow manages to exit the asylum. He runs to a nearby farm and steals a horse and a scythe.
The scene cuts to Robin and Batgirl on the Batcycle. B: "Thanks for the ride. I wish I could get a motor cycle." R: "No problem. I wish I could have gotten to see what happened. I missed out on the whole thing." B: "What is that over there?" They see Scarecrow riding the horse. Robin veers into the cornfield. The cycle cuts in front of the horse. Scarecrow jumps of the horse and dissapears. The horse runs into the Batcycle. The Batcycle is smashed to pieces. Luckily, Robin and Batgirl are unharmed. S: "Well, well, well. I can read the fear on your faces. I have already won this fight."
Scarecrow comes out and attacks with the scythe. Robin and Batgirl only manage to dodge. Batman appears and disarms Scarecrow. Batman is still weak though. Scarecrow defeats Batman. Robin and Batgirl continue to fight him. Alfred is in the Batmobile because Batman was still weak. Alred starts to drive through the cornfield. Scarecrow picks the scythe back up and is just about to cut Batman, when the Batmobile arrives.
SC: "Now here is a challenge." Alfred activates a net device, but when it binds around Scarecrow, he just hacks it away with his scythe. Scarecrow's horse then arrives and he hops on. The Batmobile starts to chase him, but the horse was going faster (this is a result of going inbetween the corn rather than plowing it down, as the Batmobile is doing). The chase continues, until Batman jumps up and kicks Scarecrow off of the horse. Scarecrow lays on the ground, completely passed out. The horse runs away. The Batmobile joins the scene.
Batman: "Alfred, I don't know what I would do without you." Robin: "I think your head would be catching a nice breeze right about now if it weren't for Al." Alfred: "We need to get back to the manor. Master Bruce's bed still isn't made."

Face to Face It starts off with Bruce putting on a jacket getting ready to go out. Alfred: Heading out, sir? Bruce: Just going out for some coffee. Alfred: And I'm assuming someone will be there waiting for you? Bruce: We haven't socialized in a while Alfred: And since when does The Dark Knight start socializing with other's outside of the Batcave? Bruce: Since something urgent's come up. Keep track of the Batwave for me. Bruce drives off to a nearby diner and there he meets Hugo Strange. Strange: Ahh Bruce Wayne, right on time. Bruce: Hello Professor. Sit down please. Strange:Why is it that you called me hear on this evening away from my studies? Bruce: I wanted to know something about Clayface and TwoFace. Strange: Yes yes, I know Mr. Wayne, and believe me when I say that the security had just malfunctioned that day and nothing could be done about it. Bruce: Two of the most dangerous criminals are running around in Gotham, Professor Strange, it strikes irony in me to see how so many criminals break out of Akrham's Asylum these days. Strange: As you may know Mr. Wayne, the crime rate has plummeted in the past year ever since the first public appearance of The Batman. Bruce Wayne looks at him seriously in a funny way. Strange: I assure you Mr. Wayne, that this is none of my doing. Bruce: Try to keep things under control Professor Strange...I'll be keeping a good eye on you. As Bruce leaves, the scene fades away into Prof. Strange's study hall where he has Batman's portfolio out. Strange: Dark, cunning, and a most fascinating specimen. He moves the file to show a portfolio with Bruce's picture on it. Strange: Two of a kind... The next morning Barbara and some of her friends are at the carnival with cotton candy in there hands as they go to see the center show. As the curtains open Joker's top hat hides his face. (Wearing the red and white carnival suit he wore in "Strange Minds") All everyone can see is his big smile and Barbara gasps. Barbara *to her friends*: Cmon guys, I think we should to go. Friend: Why? The fun's about to start. Joker: Right you are little girl! *shows his face as everyone in the audience gasps* IT'S SHOWTIIIIME! The same morning, Bruce Wayne heads to the Gotham City Hospital where he meets Ellen Yin. Ever since Ethan's final transformation, Ellen had been in a state of depression and decided to leave the force after helping Batman getting Riddler, Penguin, and Joker in "Night and the City" to find herself. She decided that 'helping others' was her destiny. Ellen: Bruce! What are you doing here? Bruce: I wanted to talk to you for a moment Ellen: I'm sorry Bruce, but I'm really busy right now. I'm about to go see a pati- Bruce: It's about Ethan. Ellen: Ethan...? All of a sudden a ring comes from Bruce's Batwave. Ellen looks at him suspiciously. Bruce: Uhh..Listen Ellen, you're busy with your patient, maybe we can discuss this later? Ellen: Sure Bruce...*with a little uneasiness* Bruce quickly leaves while Ellen watches him leave. Bruce hops in his car and goes through a brick wall and comes out in the Batmobile (If you can recall, this is exactly what he did in "The Big Heat", except reversed) He starts to change as he puts it on auto pilot headed for a carnival that had arrived in Gotham. (Well it's about time he put on his suit, eh?) Batman: Whats the situation Alfred? Alfred: It seems that Joker's crazy antics aren't much appreciated at Gotham's Annual Carnival. He gets to the carnival and jumps out of his Batmobile to see Joker wearing a Red and White suit holding a brown cane. Joker: Come to join the fun Batman? He takes the cane and unleashes laughing gas. Batman shields his face with his cape as he runs towards Joker. Joker backs up a little and starts striking his cane at Batman while Batman dodges them. Finally Batman grabs the end of the cane with his free hand and kicks Joker so that he falls and lets go of the cane. Batman takes out a gas mask he keeps with him and puts it on. Joker laughs and takes off his top hat and pulls out another cane. Joker: There's more to me than just an ace up the sleeve. Batman and Joker duke it out striking each others canes and while doing so Joker lifts his right leg and unleashes his spring boot and with it, hits Batman right on the chest making him fall a long distance. He struggles to get up and when he does, he runs towards Joker and starts blocking the attacks and then grabs one of the canes with his arm/elbow and does a roundhouse kick on the other to snap it in two and then throws Joker over his shoulder. Then with his knee, he snaps the last cane. Joker: There goes my act. Joker snaps his fingers and Punch and Judy come out of random carnival tents and run up to Batman as Joker runs away. Batgirl shows up and blocks Joker's way. Batgirl: Where do you think you're going? Joker: Up, up, and away of course! His springy shoes pop up as he jumps across the carnival getting away. He looks down at the carnival laughing as he jumps up and down but as he turns to face the direction he's going we suddenly see Clayface's body stretch up to reach Joker as he punches him right in the face. Batgirl *watching*: Woah, that's definately going to leave a mark. Joker falls to the ground nearby the carnival. Batgirl heads off to find him while Batman continues to fight off Punch and Judy. He starts blocking, punching, and jumping back. He finally punches Judy and kicks Punch close enough to the tents and uses two batarangs to make the tents collapse on them. He then looks to where Batgirl ran off to. Next, Joker wakes up to see Clayface coming towards him along with TwoFace! Clayface: Hope you're comfortable at the moment Joker, because things are about to get ugly. Joker: How ugly are we talking? TwoFace: Let's just say that you're about to feel the pain that you've given the both of us, but with twice the fury. Batgirl shows up from behind the bushes. Clayface: Looks like the Bat's got a new partner. TwoFace: She ain't much. TwoFace takes out his flamethrower and spurs out fire as Batgirl dodges and the bushes catch on fire. He spurs it around everywhere Batgirl uses her gaprnel (rope) to get up to a tree and then she jumps down and tosses her batarang at the flamethrower which makes it tilt up. All of a sudden Batman leaps from the high fire and kicks TwoFace. He falls on the ground and drops the flamethrower. Batman runs up to TwoFace. TwoFace quickly grabs the flamethrower and shoots it but Batman throws Ice pellets at it before it comes out as he still runs towards him. Clayface then throws a long punch from where he was standing at Batman. Batgirl runs to Clayface and tries to kick him but she just gets stuck in him. Clayface grabs Batgirl and Joker in the other hand as he makes a run for it. Clayface: Sorry to cut it short Bats, but I've got some business to finish. TwoFace flips his coin and grins evily at Batman. TwoFace: Let's see if you can make it out of here Batman! As TwoFace runs along, Batman groans as he falls back to the floor with the fire building up. The rumbling of a car becomes audible and then we see a car go right through the fire and then the brakes screech. Out comes Ellen Yin. She puts Batman in the back seat and drives off. Ellen: Don't worry 'Bruce', you'll be alright. To Be Continued Face To Face Pt. 2 Batgirl and Joker are tied up next to each other in an abandoned area near the coast of Gotham's shore. TwoFace is leaning against a rock watching Clayface as he molds his hands into two huge hammers. Clayface: It's time for revenge to take its course. He is about to strike Joker when... TwoFace: But what about Batman? Clayface: I'm sure his ashes won't be able to stop us. TwoFace: From what I know, he should still be alive. He's lived through every villain in Gotham so far, so what makes this time any different? Clayface: So with that in mind you decided to just leave him there?? TwoFace: You didn't tell me what to do with him. Clayface: *sigh* Some help you've been. You want something done right, leave it to me. Save a piece of Joker left for me to deal with. Or better yet, wait until I come back. TwoFace: I'm an impatient man. Clayface: It'll be quick... The next scene is Bruce waking up in his manor to see Ellen walking in with a tray of coffee and toast. Ellen: Morning Sunshine. (sarcasm, dont take it that seriously you mooshy bat-fans ) Bruce: Ellen...? *flashback to falling unconscious on the ground with the fire spreading* Alfred: It seems someone's mind here is compatible with that of the Riddler's. Bruce: So...you know... Ellen: I always did have a feeling... Bruce *gets up rubbing his temple*: What happened? Ellen: You were in the middle of a fire and I got you out. Bruce: But...how did you find me? Ellen: Followed the action. Just then a TV report came on talking about Commisioner Gordon's daughter's disappearance. Bruce remembers all this and heads out with Ellen for clues. (remember that it was morning when they were at the carnival so it is in the evening now) Batman and Ellen go back to where Ellen picked up Batman. There they see an old lady standing by the area. Ellen: Excuse me miss, Dete-I'm Ellen Yin, and I was wondering if you have seen any...clayfaced creatures around here? Or a man with a disfigured face. Old lady: You know what? I think I may know who you two are looking for. Was the clay man carrying around a girl in a costume just like your man friend? Ellen: Yes! That's exactly who he is! Can you tell us where he went? Old lady: Tell you? I can show you the way. Ellen and Batman look at each other and follow her. She leads them near Gotham shore. Old lady: I'm sure this is where I last saw them. Ellen: *sigh* Well, they're not here anymore.... Old lady: That's a shame, I'm sorry to leave you in a disappointment Yinsey... *changes into Clayface* Ellen: Ethan! Batman: Get back! Batman throws an ice pellet at Clayface but he makes a hole in his stomach and it goes right through. Then Batman charges and kicks him while Clayface hardens. He then turns his arms into sharp swords and starts slashing at Batman. Batman throws a bomb batarang and both of his arms and they explode. His arms grow again but Batman kick's Clayface on the head before he has time to defend. Then he takes out another ice pellet and throws it. Clayface takes his regenerated arms and shields himself as he hardens them and then smacks them on the floor to crack the ice. Clayface: You're just too predictable Bats! You're running out of moves! As they are still fighting TwoFace stands by the captives. TwoFace: If it's my head, I get to finish you two off! *flips it* Darn coin. Joker: Harvey boy, you think 20 times was enough. I guess your 'flip of fate' is inevitable. *laughs* Clayface stretches his body all around Batman to confuse him. Batman takes a batarang and slices through one of his legs. Clayface melts and them forms back into one piece again. Batman throws another batarang at Clayface and he hardens up. As he hardens up Batman throws a smoke bomb and an ice pellet right after. The smoke starts crackling and turns into thin ice and Clayface is frozen. Clayface: Same bat, new tricks. *mumbling under ice* From behind Batman hears a muffled scream as he sees Ellen gone. Clayface: *muffled* Wanna know where Yin is Bats? I can take ya there, for a ticket price. Batman frees Clayface from the ice and as he does Clayface wraps his arm around Batman and hardens it. Clayface: *laughing* I told you Bats, you're just too predictable! But a promise is a promise. Let's go meet your friends and their doom. Batman is dropped off by the shore and tied up by Clayface next to Ellen, Batgirl, and Joker. Batgirl: Hiya. There is a noise from the bushes. Out comes....Professor Hugo Strange!!! Strange: It's all come clear to me now Batman. Ever since I found out, everything is beginning to make more sense. The reason behind the criminal's mind, the true role of a hero, the sacrifices one must make to truly be a hero. Batman: You did this Strange? Strange: No, Batman. All I did was simply let TwoFace and Clayface go. The two tragedies caused by a man who had suffered a tragedy as well. *looks at Joker* The mind of a criminal is only born after impacted by something that would alter that person's life completely. The meaning of a hero is to relieve the criminal of this suffering and in the process, would have to attempt to make sacrifices as part of the remedy. Batman: Professor...this is what you have been researching all your life? Strange: Yes, and now I have fulfilled my goal and I can finally be able to say I know the true meaning of life, the true reason, of The Batman's legacy. After saying these words, Batman's mind flashed back to his parents, and back to his first time putting on the mask. Batman: I understand it too...sacrifices must be made...but not like this Professor...This is something entirely different. Strange: I understand Batman. From the bushes come GPD and they arrest TwoFace and Clayface. And Strange as well. Batman: You knew they were there? Strange: I'm the one who brought them here, that's the meaning of sacrifice. While entering the car, Clayface turns back to Ellen and has a hint of sadness in his eyes as he turns back to get in the car. Strange enters the car along with the other two as they leave. Batman: He could have gotten out of there with ease... Ellen: Maybe Ethan isn't lost after all... Commisioner Gordon unties the others as Joker is arrested as well.. At Wayne Manor, Bruce ponders over everything Strange had said as Alfred enters the room. Alfred: Is everything all right sir? Bruce: How well did you know my parents Alfred? Alfred: Oh sir, I knew them very well and might I say they were extremely marvelous people. I know they would be proud of what you are doing for them...sir? Bruce: Thanks Alfred, it's good to know. THE END PS: Here is the image of the red and white suit I was referring to What suit you may ask? Well read the story and find out!

I posted my review on the Riddler's Revenge board as well as here. I loved the last part, yet it doesnt seem long enough for 1 episode. Riddler's weakness is his love for telling riddles IMO He always has a chance to finish things off but he never does. BTW Anyone reading this post, go back to page 2 to see my new improved stories. I just modified both by adding in TwoFace's coin

Good episode, yeah I find that if you make a little space between your convos, it makes it easier to read and easier to know who's talking so you won't get mixed up. It was a good episode, but it also seemed really short. I have this thing for timing *shifty eyes* Just ignore it Here's a hero.

This shall be my review post. I will update this post regularly. I have already talked about "Dumped" so I am not going to explain why I gave it the score I did. All the other ones I do will have an explanation under the score
"Dumped" 6/10
I read the first two parts of ? ? ? ?'s story. I won't rate it until the third part is written. I really like the second part. A much different introduction of Misty Ree and I made my debut as the guy that was chosen for the magic. Nice.
"Hello Harvey" 9/10
I don't think I care for Harvey Dent as a cop. This was a cool episode. It was completely developed, it had good character interaction, and it obviously had a lot of effort put into it.
"Two Faces are better than One" 8/10
When did Batman find out about the acid? Did I miss that episode, or is this from that reference from Strange Minds. Also, how graphic is this going to get with Dent getting the acid wash?
"Face to Face Part I" 4/10
First of all, wouldn't Bruce have had the Batwave on vibrate? Second, he wouldn't have gone to Strange as Bruce. Bruce and Strange have only very limited experience together, so he would have gone as Batman so that he could get more information. The circus scene seemed like it was pulled from Batman Forever. I think there is still a lot that needs to be worked out and improved.
"Face to Face Part II" 6/10
That was a weak way to introduce that Gordon knows about Barbara being Batgirl. I didn't like that Clayface was simply arrested once the police showed up. That made no sense that they could just cuff him. Two Face really didn't have a lot going on in this episode or the previous. I don't think that Yin should know who Batman is. Good fight scene with Clayface. I like the revelation that Strange let the "faces" out. I am undecided on the "role" of Strange.
"Penguin's Reform" 2/10
Batfan, please don't repackage Batman movies. I think it is all right to pull a piece of dialog from someone elses story, or do something new with it, but everyone has seen this before. Think up your own plot. I scored you low just because you didn't have originality behind it.

I added a whole lot to my story. I also changed the format to be easier to read. A much better and organized read Thanks for the formatting PS: Riddler, I doubt its a good idea but it looks like its 1 page for posting episodes and 1 page for discussion is the way you made it, I know it will probably take up too much space to do 1 whole page of discussion so nvm XP

Saw them, yup I rushed my second piece and Im guessing I should start modifying it soon to make it more detailed. Thanks for the questions it really gives me a challenge to rewrite them to make them better. Exactly what venom are you talking about?
Update: I decided that the two last episodes could merge into 1, seeing as though the plot seemed a bit rushed and it would fit the time limit. I' will start rewriting it as soon as I'm done with piano.

Here are my reviews Dumped-7.5/10 Very good episode. Fits with The Batman's creativity and it had its moments. It seemed to simple and short as well, which is why the rating went down a little. The ending still bewilders me as to whether he gave away his identity. Perhaps if you add some more details I would enjoy it better but the plot was by itself pretty good Riddles He Wrote-7/10 It started off weak and the wordplay seemed a little more in between The Batman and B:TAS I love the whole plot and its hard to come up with Riddler episodes so it's definately an A for effort, but I just don't find it too much of interest, nothing big has really happened yet, so I will see what happens in the climax The Scared and Fearless-7/10 Good storyline, perhaps a basic for Scarecrow. The interaction was very much like that of The Batman but some of the themes were a little off The Batman's limit is what I believe (talking about drunks, using scythes, running over villains). Very detailed and yet I had some questions about it, Why would the police just let Batman through and talk to a convict? etc. But overall it was another good episode. My favorite Scarecrow episode to date is joe_destructive's though HR's Story-8.5/10 If you read my first review, scratch it out of your mind HR I completely forgot about this not being on The Batman. Using the HUSH characters and in comic book form, this plot would be a nice change and starts a personal story on Riddler. The violence was understandable as well as everything else. Except for Penguin and Killer Croc dancing o_0 as well as all the other villains (except Joker and Harl) Very nice interactions between characters. Im sorry I missed your warning post "One thing that bugged me about the ep. was that Joker just took Batman's utility belt. In this series, unless if something goes really wrong like in the Catwoman premiere, only Batman can take his belt off. When did Batman find out about the acid? Did I miss that episode, or is this from that reference from Strange Minds. Also, Batman isn't a reluctant kind of person. He would have his mind set on whether he would tell Gordon about Dent. Also, how graphic is this going to get with Dent getting the acid wash?" Don't worry Nightwing, I've only modified that story by combining it, when Im finished with the moderations, I think all your questions will be answered.

Well, friends, this is it. This is my last Riddler story. Actually this might be my last story because I’m not that great a writer. This is how I envisioned Misty Ree and her connection to the Riddler. Imagine these characters anyway you would, but when you are thinking of Riddler, imagine him as the “HUSH” Riddler. Note that this story is like a love story in the beginning, but I assure you the plot gets better.
This story has two parts. It starts out with Riddler and his two lackies (Questionire, who is French, and Conundrus), robbing the typical low-tech jewelry store.
Conundrus: Why did boss want us after this place again? Why such a low-tech robbery? Boss is usually of high justification then this!
Questionire: He said somesing aboot meeting someune. I doe not know. But he’z vaiting, so ve bettah not keep ‘im in soosh a stat, he vill be angggggry.
Conundrus: Right. Let’s grab everything from the other room and leave. (They open up the door to the other side of the store and see two ladies rummaging around, removing the glass, then putting it back carefully, not stealing anything, but appear to be looking for something.) Who are you? (The girls wheel around. The have green veils covering their eyes, and where knee-length skirts and black cloaks with a single giant, sparkly “?” on the back.)
Echo: Boss said no one else would be here! I think we’d better leave!
Query: Right behind ya, sis!
Conundrus: (To Questionire) You think these are the skanks boss was looking for?
Query: AH! ExcUUUUUUUUUUSE me?! We are anything but that! You boys should watch your language! (Riddler enters)
Riddler: Arrogant as ever, aren’t you girls?
Query: YOU!
Riddler: Oh, yes I missed you too. Tell me, where did you girls toddle off to?
Echo: We WERE going to live decent lives, but after the secretary jobs, the donut jobs, the file clerk jobs, we just about gave up on Gotham and moved to Metropolis.
Query: Yeah, and that’s when we started new lives.
Riddler: Seems anything but decent.
Echo: HOW WOULD YOU KNOW?! You couldn’t distinguish a sewer rat from the most decent man in Gotham!
Riddler: Who might that be? Batman? Sure I could. He’s just a giant rat. With wings.
Query: We went out on our own for a while, and we almost came back to you with our tails between our legs. That is, until we met someone who kept us out of jail. We haven’t had an unsuccessful heist since her.
Riddler: Really? Who might this new ring leader of your’s be?
Unknown: Have you forgotten me so soon, Riddler?
Riddler: …Her… I remember… (A woman comes out from the other room, dressed in a bright purple cloak and a black dress with silver “?”s all over it. She wears a bright green masque with black circling the eyeholes. The masque glitters in the light. Her blonde hair is tied tight into a well-done bun, looks very beautiful yet sinister at the same time.) Misty. Misty Ree.
M.R.: Long time no see, old man.
Riddler: Sour as ever, wretch.
M.R.: I honestly can’t believe you thought that you thought you would never see me again you miserable old buzzard.
Riddler: How could I? I thought you were dead at the hands of Superman.
M.R.: And you never took revenge? You simply moved to Gotham and began a new life? After all you said I meant to you?
Riddler: Boys… leave us. (He snaps his fingers and Conundrus and Questionire leave, and Query and Echo follow suit.) I was a decent man. I was. I wasn’t about to begin a criminal career with the big “M”.
M.R.: And yet you have been arrested time and time again for attempted murder.
Riddler: You know I can’t stand anyone better then me at my own game…
M.R.: So you started a criminal career using… Riddles… For crimes? HA! How pathetic.
Riddler: What heats things up and can’t cool down?
M.R.: Simple. Fire. You’re loosing your touch, Edward.
Riddler: Fire. Exactly. (He throws out small ash-like substance at Misty Ree, which she back-flips [in a dress?] to avoid. The moment they touch the ground they burst into flame. Riddler stomps his cane against the ground twice and a half of his cane drops off, revealing a blade.) Let’s dance, witch.
M.R.: (Misty Ree flicks her hands into her cloak and whips them out revealing two large, spiky scythe-like “?”s.) Yes, let’s, old swine.
Riddler and Misty Ree begin a sort of blade-fight, Riddler using his sword can and Misty using her scythe-arm-blades. They seem pretty evenly matched until Riddler knocks off one blade off of Misty Ree’s arm and, in frustration, she begins swinging her blade wildly about until she breaks both off her blade as well as Riddler’s blade, but being the well prepared criminal geniuses that they are, whip out two guns and aim for each others heads.
M.R.: Finish me if you have the courage, you coward. (Riddler looks at her, breathing heavily, and finally says…)
Riddler: I… I can’t. I can’t kill you.
M.R.: Dammit, I’ll do it! (She pulls the trigger and there is a loud bang.)
Riddler: Blanks… why… You… you still care.
M.R.: Dammit oh Lord, Oh my God, my God! (She falls into the Riddler’s arms, and cries out on his shoulder, then whispers softly.) You know I can’t kill you Riddie…
Riddler: (Riddler’s eyes light up.) It’s been so long since you last called me that…
M.R.: Too long. (She kisses his cheek, then pulls away from him.) I can’t do this. No, no, no. I’m so sorry, Edward.
Riddler: Misty… Mistia Renee. I… (Batman suddenly bursts in [yay, it’s a Batman story again!] with Robin.)
Batman: Alright, Riddler, give it up and… (Robin and him see him holding Misty’s hand and draw funny expressions.)
Robin: Ah jeez, Riddler’s got a Harley Quinn and… EWWW! RIDDLER’S GOT A GIRL?!
Batman: Riddler… what is…?
Riddler: (Ignoring Batman’s question.) Follow me?
M.R.: To the ends of the earth… (Riddler uses what remains of his cane to launch out a series of small balls that release an incense, and we see through Batman’s eyes as he inhales the smoke about four or five Riddlers, since the incense is messing with his vision. When Riddler speaks he hears about five of the same voices.)
Riddler: Oh and Batman, since you see so many of me, you might try to find me next at a place where a lot of me reside all day, all week. (He and Misty Ree vanish in a puff of smoke.)
Batman: Ackackackackackack! Ohh, what was that…?
Robin: (His vision comes into focus as well as Batman’s.) I dunno, but what do you suppose he meant by “where a lot of him reside all day, all week?
Batman: My best guess would be Gotham Hall of Geniuses, where the city’s greatest minds are idolized through annals of history.
We next are at Arkham, where Joker is being lead down the hall to Professor Strange’s office. He goes in, in his straight jacket, and lays down on the couch.
Joker: Okay, Strange, I’m here. What’s today’s exercise? Wandering through my abused childhood, talking about lack of cooperation again?
Batman: How’s about your love life? (Batman steps out from behind a dark corner.)
Joker: Eh? Who let you in?
Batman: I want to know something. And the authorities say you’ll get time off for good behavior… (He grabs the Joker’s front.) …if you cooperate.
Joker: PPffft. I’ll tell you what I want to tell you, and for your information, as you should’ve observed for the past eight years, I can leave this place whenever I want!
Batman: What’s the deal between you and Harley?
Joker: Eh? Where’d that come from?
Batman: Talk.
Joker: I dunno, she’s a great gal, lots of help you know when ever I feel like holding this city for hostage.
Batman: Aha. Do you love her?
Joker: Hmm. That’s personal.
Batman: Answer me.
Joker: Fine, fine. But that’s a complicated question. What is love to any of us? Would I spent the rest of my life with her? Depends.
Batman: And why does she love you?
Joker: Becauuuuuuuuuse Batsy, I’m a lovable guy. I’m her man. But get this straight, she fell in love with me. I… guess I love her back… She’s another psychotic person crying out for help and understanding, just like me. (Batman scoffs at this, then Joker suddenly turns tables.) Why the heck are you asking me all this?
Batman: Because… it would appear Riddler has a new partner.
Joker: OOOHHH! Is she pretty?
Batman: …Argh. We’re done. (He leaves out the window.)
Joker: Jeez, just asking.
End of Part I.
Part II
It is several months later, and we are at Penguin’s Iceburg Lounge. It would appear that the night is simply for all of Penguin’s old friends: Two Face, Joker, Harley, Poison Ivy, Riddler, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter and his new hench-girl Alice, and a few henchmen are there, and of course, Misty Ree is there. The party is held simply at Penguin’s invite, so there are no upper-class Gothamites there. Penguin stands up to make a toast.
Penguin: Here is to you, gentlemen, and ladies of course. I’ve been glad to make it in high-society, yet keep my flippers wet in the underworld. Thanks for sticking with me guys! (Everyone applauds politely, then Riddler stands to make a toast.)
Riddler: I’d like to welcome to Gotham, or rather, welcome BACK to Gotham, the woman who had been a blast from the past for me, and has been the greatest event in my life, my old partner, Misty Ree! (Everyone cheers.)
Penguin: I think there would be no objections were we to have some dancing would we?
Two Face: You’re not gonna play showtunes, are you?
Joker: Play something “fresh”, daddy-o!
Penguin: Settle down, louts! I’ll put on what I think is appropriate. (‘70s dance music plays.) Oh! I danced to this in high school!
Joker: I said “fresh”, “fresh” you old bird!
Penguin: Fine, fine. (Plays dance music. There is some dancing, and the guys [Joker, Two Face, Riddler, Croc] have a dance off with the girls [Harley, Misty and Ivy], until slower, romantic music comes on. Two Face pairs with Ivy, Harley with Joker, the Hatter with Alice, and Riddler with Misty.)
Riddler: Misty, I’m so sorry I left… and I never even…
Misty: Hush, hush Riddie. It’s alright. (Switches to another slow dance song.)
Harley: OH PUDDIN’, IT’S OUR SONG!
Misty: Question, Riddie. How long have you been like this?
Riddler: Answer. About seven years.
Misty: And last when I was in Gotham, I tried to kill you… I’m so sorry.
Riddler: Misty, we may be hardened criminals, and I think that’s what led me to almost…
Misty: You know what they say, Riddie…
Riddler: Even homicidal maniacs need love… (Misty kisses Riddler. Yay.)
Misty: Mhm… Just look at your old friend Joker… woah.
Riddler: Wow… (Harley’s on top of Joker smothering his face with kisses, Joker attempting to fight her off but apparently isn’t doing to well.) I’ve been thinking, my dear.
Misty: Yes? About…?
Riddler: About the Joker. I can’t stand it. You’ve already known me to challenge Batman every chance I get. I can’t help it. But there’s something else burning inside of me… Batman is the only one worthy of the game, Misty. He’s the only one who’s been able to challenge me! Batman! And yet, he holds me as no where near as big a threat as Joker. And I can’t take it anymore! He brushes my cleverest think-me-ups off like a fly, and its back to Arkham I go every time! And yet, Joker, that giggling, guffawing madman, he’s never been defeated by Batman without causing him terrible agony. He put the commissioner’s daughter into a wheel-chair, he killed Robin, and now… I can’t take it…
Misty: What does this have to do with…
Riddler: Misty, my dear, I need your help. Batman has defeated me how many times? Tens? Hundreds? I’ll become his worst nightmare, his greatest foe… But first, I’m putting that clown away for good… Let’s go… (They leave.)
The next day, Batman and Alfred are down in the Batcave.
Alfred: What are you doing here sir? I awoke and realized I didn’t have to make your bed.
Batman: What? It’s morning? Oh, Alfred… no wonder I’m so tired.
Alfred: What are you looking for sir?
Batman: Any suspicious robberies or threats to the city as of late.
Alfred: Why would that be sir?
Batman: It would appear Riddler’s gotten himself a girlfriend…
Alfred: Huh? So you’re wondering why he hasn’t made any motives lately?
Batman: Yes, I’d think he’d be overwhelmed with so many robberies and bomb-threats with this new partner of his, but... (A video clip pops up on the Batcomputer’s screen of the Batsignal in the sky.) Hmm. Maybe this could be his biggest move yet.
Alfred: Good luck sir. I’ll have lunch waiting. (Batman drives off to meet Comm. Gordon.)
Batman: Gordon? Jim?
Gordon: Oh, Batman. There you are. It appears Joker has the nuclear power-plant out on an island under hostage. He demands $40,000,000, or else he’ll nuke the whole city.
Batman: Knowing Joker, he’s crazy enough to do it too… I’ll see what I can do.
Gordon: Have fun at work… heheh.
Batman: Ha. Thanks Jim. (Batman takes the Batboat out to the power-plant with Robin, and pulls up to the harbor.) Okay, let’s see what Joker’s up to… (They go into the power plant to find it empty!)
Robin: What? Did Joker get bored and go home?
Batman: No, I don’t think so. Let’s look around. (While searching the office, Robin comes by with a piece of paper.)
Robin: Batman, I think I know where Joker is! (He unfolds the paper.) I think the Riddler abducted him, and as usual, he left a clue. “Riddle number 6634 8122. What is flat, round, and hollow all at once?” Eh?
Batman: The answer… is glass.
Robin: Aha! The old glass factory. Let’s check it out! (They go off to the glass factory, but find nothing of the Riddler, nor another clue.)
Batman: Robin, let me see that clue again… (Robin hands him the clue.) Riddle number 6634 8122… Eight digits, like… a map! Hmm… let’s go to the boat, I’ve got a map in there. (They drive off in the boat.)
Robin: What did the coordinates say?
Batman 6634 8122… the only place where those two points intersect is an old oil rig… (They come to the oil rig, and there, at the top, suit, with coat-tails and all, is…) Riddler.
Riddler: Hello, Batman. You know, you should be thanking me. I’m relieving you off all of your worst memories (Batman has a two-second flashback with a BANG and an image of Barbara being shot by the Joker)…you’re most horrific pasts, (another quick flashback and a BANG as an image of Batman carrying the dead, bleeding body of Jason Todd in his arms,) That’s all going to end tonight! If you believe a suffering soul deserves to be saved, come and find us in a land where Kings and Queens contend! (Riddler snaps his fingers and Conundrus, armed with numb chucks, Questionire, armed with two steel fencing foils, and Query and Echo, armed with Misty Ree’s arm-scythe-blades, jump down to meet Batman. Riddler vanishes.)
During the following scene, Robin takes on Questionire and Conundrus, while Batman takes on the twins, Echo and Query. Robin throws Batarangs at Conundrus which knock his own numb chucks out of his hands and whack him in the head. He then dodges the fencing foils and knocks over Questionire. He obtains the numb chucks and wraps them around Questionire’s fencing foils and snaps the fragile blades in half, then smacks his head in with the numb chucks, knocking him out next to Conundrus. We switch over to the Joker and the Riddler, with Misty standing in the background. Joker is tied to a chair.
Riddler: Well Joker, you proven to be quite the nuisance to Batman a number of times. Quite the thorn in my side as well. Allow me now to slip a knife into yours. (He stabs Joker in the thigh.)
Joker: Argh… you… I thought we were… we… eheheheh… we played cards together… aggh.
Riddler: Don’t be so dramatic, Joker. The wound is not fatal.
Joker: What… is your problem… what did I… ever do… ahhh… to you?
Riddler: Can you imagine, how it feels, Joker? Can you imagine, that you stay up thinking all night, a way to defeat Batman?
Joker: Ahk… Yes, yes I can…
Riddler: Yet, after all the times he’s put you back into Arkham, you’ve defeated him in certain ways numerous times. Think back to when you crippled Barbara Gordon, and how close the Bat is to the law. And when you stop and killed his partner, Robin?
Joker: That’s all… just a joke…
Riddler: And for the longest time, I’ve commended you for that. Yet I have come to realize he’s bested me every time. I’ve reminisced no times when I’ve been able to bring him personal grief, inflict memories upon him that could scar him for life. He’s been the only one worthy of my game, the only one to match my wit! And yet, he’s held me in no where near as big a threat as he holds you, you lousy, laughing dog! (He kicks Joker in his knife wound. We then return to Batman, who is polishing off the twins.)
Batman: Well, I figured out that the answer is a chessboard. “Where Kings and Queens contend…”
Robin: Yeah, but where are we going to find a chessboard around here?
Batman: Aren’t there 64 squares on a chessboard?
Robin: Yes…
Batman: And 64 x 64 is 4096, correct?
Robin: Umm… yea? (Batman points to a door labeled “4096”, where we return to the Riddler, who is beating the crud out of the constricted Joker.)
Riddler: And now, how to kill you… I could crush your windpipe and sever the oxygen from your brain… (He swings his cane like a golf club and hits Joker’s throat, HARD. Joker lets out a series of wheezing noises.) I could crush your ribs and rip your heart out with my bare hands… (He kicks Joker’s chest, and Joker starts coughing up blood.) Or… yes… I think I’ll pound your skull into tiny little pieces so that your brain will spill out… I think that’d make a very nice trophy indeed… (He flips Joker over on the floor and stands on his back, his cane raised high, and before he can bash it into Joker’s cranium, Robin and Batman crash through the door.)
Misty: THEM!
Riddler: Distract them, my dear! I’ll tend to what needs to be done! (He presses a button and the walls lower into the floor, revealing an interior wall of several broken fragments of mirrors, which make everything very confusing. Riddler vanishes with Joker.)
Robin: Go after Riddler! I can handle her! (Batman hesitates, but finds his way out and finds Joker and Riddler fighting, Joker armed with a long, rusty pole, Riddler armed with his cane. They are fighting on a suspended platform, and it seems at the time Joker has the upper hand, despite his weakened condition.)
Riddler: I should have destroyed Batman years ago, and ended the game there and then!
Joker: That, of course, would leave no joke! I should have triumphed over that stupid cowering cowl with my sheer comic GENIUS!
Riddler: Let’s end this, NOW! (They continue fighting as if they were armed with swords, and Batman rushes up to the platform, but, however, takes a while to get there. Riddler and Joker continue fighting until Riddler’s cane is knocked out of his hands onto a lower platform, in which his pulls out a gun and holds it against Joker’s forehead, while Joker does the same thing. Batman reaches their platform finding them in this position.)
Batman: STOP!
Riddler: SILENCE, CRETIN!
Misty: (Appearing from below.) Joker! You shoot him, and you’re girl dies! (Joker looks down and finds Harley being held at gunpoint by Misty Ree. He gets a sick, sick smile on his face and drops his gun. He jumps down from his platform, and Riddler follows, picking up his cane, and Harley runs into Joker’s arms.)
Riddler: The Joker’s reign of terror over Gotham will soon end… And the Riddler shall rule with an iron fist.
Joker: Heh… Heh… (He suddenly pushes Harley aside and flicks a small gun from his sleeve.) Fools, the Joker is all Gotham City! (He grabs Misty Ree and twirls her so that her back is to Joker, and holds her close so he can whisper in her ear…) The next morning Gotham Gazette shall read, “Thus Parished the Riddling Duo”. (There is a loud BANG and Misty Ree’s horrifed eyes shut as she breaths her last word…)
Misty Ree: Eddie…
Joker lets her falls, off of the platform and she falls into the sea below the oil barge. Joker lets out a slow, then steadily faster, sick, inhumane cackle, as Riddler charges at him with his fists swinging. He knocks Joker back onto a narrow platform. Joker picks up yet another iron pipe and uses it to defend against the Riddler’s swinging cane, but he is loosing this time and slowly being forced back farther and farther to the edge of the narrow platform. Riddler swings once, and Joker blocks. Riddler swings again, Joker blocks yet again. Riddler swings a third time, and this time he presses his cane against Joker’s pipe. They stare at each other intently, until Riddler presses a button on his cane and Joker sees a large, spiky point produce from the cane’s end. His eyes go wide with fear as the Riddler draws back his cane against the pipe and before Joker can defend, shoves the cane into the Joker’s stomach. Harley Quinn screams with terror as the Riddler and the Joker falls from the force of the jab off the edge of the platform to the sharp rocks below…
Harley: NOOO!
Batman: Oh my God…
Robin: Oh, no…
Robin, Batman and Nightwing are all in the Batcave discussing what has happened.
Nightwing: So tell me, Riddler ran Joker through? Just like that?
Robin: Not entirely. It was pretty intense.
Nightwing: I didn’t know Riddler was an actually skilled swordsman.
Batman: There’s many things we don’t know about either of them. But I know one thing for certain. Joker’s defiantly come back from worse.
Nightwing: And… as for our old pal, Edward Nygma?
Batman: Well, he just fell off the platform. I wouldn’t be surprised if he made it back too… But after what’s happened to his partner, Misty Ree… I would not be a bit surprised if he didn’t retire… And give up the game…
As Batman says these final words, we look out onto the harbor and see a green coat with coattails decorated with “?”s caught in the sharp rocks below the oil barge, and we see a lime-green bowler hat with a “?” on the front washing up onto the shore of Gotham City.
Questions, comments, feedback? I think this might be a little to voilent so it might have to be read as if it were a comic book, because I can't see this relating to any Batman shows that have ever been produced. I tried not to overgo it on violence, but other then that, please... let me know how I did, because I'm really not that sure about this one. I myself would give it an 8/10.

[glow=green,2,300] Good story but I feel real bad about Misty Ree dying I feel horrible for Riddler but a great story nonetheless. Here is a hero partner. Harley made me laugh when she said Harley: OH PUDDIN’, IT’S OUR SONG! I think it was a great story you shouldn't quit writing them everyone hates my stories alot of the time and I don't quit we all have different talents. Bottom line is your stories are great and no-one but you can determine whether it's good or not. [/glow]

I had fun reading this one HR. For the dance sequence, did Croc and Penguin dance. I was wondering whether those two were alone or what. I never thought that Joker actually loved Harley, but that is just an opinion. I didn't think that Joker did enough puns or jokes. I love the fight sequences. The amount of blood was nice. I hope that you do write some more, because I want to know what happened to Joker.

I couldn't think of anyone to pair them with, so I just left them out. They left or something. I don't think Joker really loved Harley, more of a lust thing where she's just available and Joker seizes the chance. The only reason he lowered his gun when Misty had Harley at gunpoint was because he saw the chance to kill Misty Ree in order to spite/hurt Riddler. I don't know if I'll write a sequel... if I do it would be very long... What I'm working on right now is a Mad Hatter story. I'll think about a sequel, but in time you may come to find the fate of the Joker

"PENGUIN REFORMED"
This one starts out with a woman walking down the street when someone comes out and tries mug her. She screams, and Batman hears her. When he gets there, the mugger is already taken care of. "Thank you so much Mr.....?" "Please my dear lady, call me Penguin."
One week later at Wayne Manor, the news channel is talking about how Penguin has apparently reformed from his life of crime and how he's been helping to keep Gotham safe. Dick just turns off the TV and says, "This can't be happening." Bruce says "I don't believe it either Dick, but maybe Copplepot really has reformed." "Oh, come on. This guy's your second arch enemy besides Joker, and all of a sudden he's reformed? Sound fishy to me." Bruce turns the TV back on and other news is that the mayor has been missing for a number of days.
Meanwhile, in abandoned warehouse, we see Mayor Grange hanging upside down with tape over his mouth. He tries to struggle, then someone says "Don't try to struggle Grange. My new plan is just getting started." And then Penguin comes out of the shadows with a toothy smile on his face.
Days later, the Batwave goes off and it's being reported that there's been a break in at the Museum. Batman and Robin suit up, jump in the Batmobile and take off. When they get there, they see the Kabuki Twins stealing anything they can get their claws on. "Penguin's girls?!," Robin says,"What did I tell you? That bird isn't reformed." "Just because Penguins reformed doesn't mean they have to be." They then try and stop them, but they escape with what ever they could get. Meanwhile, Penguin is approaching the Batmobile and attaches a device under it. Batman and Robin then get back in the Batmobile still questioning about the Penguin. When Batman starts the ignigtion, the Batmobile won't start. Then the Penguin then appears on the screen of the computer in the Batmobile.
"Having car trouble, Batman?" "Penguin!" "Let me help you out there." We see Penguin on the other side in his own toy Batmobile, and when he pushes on the accelorator, the real Batmobile starts going. Batman tries to regain control, "What's going on here Copplepot?!" "I'm ruining your reputation. When they see you taking the Batmobile out for a joyride, they're gonna hate you so bad. And after that, I'll be the new protector of Gotham!" "HA HA HA!" Robin then says,"I told you!" "Shut up." "You should've listen to the brat, Bats." "I'll see you in hell. HA HA HA!" That's all the Penguin says before he goes off the screen. Penguin then starts "driving his batmobile" which is controlling the real one. They try to get back into control, but nothing working. Batman then types in some things to find where the problem is coming from. It says there's something under it. Robin, seeing this, gets out of the seat, and opens the door, and looks upside down, and sees the device. He then pulls out a birdarang, throws it, and hits the the device and now Batman has control of the Batmobile again. After that, Peguin's computer for his batmobile goes off, and he says "WHA..? NOOO!"
After the joyride, Batman and Robin are in the Batmobile, "What did I tell you?" "We'll discuss this later Dick." He sees police cars chasing after them. They then have a chase through the city, and Batman then loses them after a smoke screen come out from the Batmobile. They head back to the cave. "This is just great. We know Peguin's still a maniac, and we have no idea where he is." "Yes we do." "What?" "The Batwave traced Penguin's singnal to an abandoned warehouse in East Gotham." "Great. Let's go." "The Batmobile slightly damaged after the joyride. We'll have to take the bikes." They then get on the Baycycle and Red Bird and head out.
Batman and Robin then reach the warehouse, shoot their grapples, and go through a window and see Mayor Grange. They untie him, and then Penguin and the Kabuki twins appear. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here. A bat and a bird." Robin then says "Mayor Grange, get out of here and contact the police. We'll handle theses dodos." Grange gets out of there. Batman then says, "You take the twins. I'll take Penguin." "You always get the big catch." After that, Robin takes on the Kabuki Twins, and Batman goes after Penguin. Robin defeats the twins after kung-fo fighting with them when he shoot a grapple at them, they miss, the grapple hits a wooden crate, Robin then retracts the line, and the wooden crate hits the twins, and they're knocked out.
Batman defeats Penguin after he breaks his umbrella, with a huge punch. The police arrive and take Penguin and the twins into custody. Batman has been cleared of the charges concerning the joyride.
Dick and Bruce are now in Wayne Manor now. "What did I tell you? You can't trust a Penguin." "I'll admit I was wrong, you were right. What do you want, a medal?" "No. I want my own car. Chicks dig the car." Bruce just looks at Dick, smiles, and shakes his head.
THE END

What'd you guys think of my new story?

Batfan, please don't repackage Batman movies. I think it is all right to pull a piece of dialog from someone elses story, or do something new with it, but everyone has seen this before. Think up your own plot.
I avoid writing solo Penguin stories because he is hard to right for, and I don't care too much for the character. I might try to write one for season five, but I haven't even finished up my season four yet. I will get this sucker done. Just two more episodes to write for this season.

Well, I needed some inspiration for my story. Damn.
I'll try to make it up for my next story, starring: THE CALENDAR MAN!
How can I get a story with him? You'll see.

To give you a headsup on what I got coming up on future stories, here's my episode titles and the characters I'll be using:
HOLIDAZED- Calendar Man
GAL PAL- Joker
ICE BRIDE- Mr. Freeze
IRRESISTABLE- Poison Ivy
And my last story will be what I think would be great for the series finale of THE BATMAN, it will be a three parter starring Two-Face:
PART 1: TWO SIDES TO EVERY COIN
PART 2: WAR GAMES
PART 3: VILLAINS UNITED
And let me say, that at the end of this story, the world of both Bruce Wayne and the Batman will never be the same again! What do I mean? Well, you'll just have to wait until I get my other stories first. The suspense will kill you, won't it?
