^Guess you need to update Wikipedia then. It only lists the original Midnight. That one drove me nuts trying to figure out.

^ she was the main villain in the series, Gotham After Midnight. i recommend it. i thought it was a fun book. it had a ton of Batman villains in it and even brought some back from abscurity. i loved the issues with Axeman. its definitely not a bad read. and the artwork is absolutely fantastic (just know that Kelley Jones is my favorite Batman artist so i'm alittle biased toward his work. if you dont like his style you wont like the artwork). if i get some extra time later i may have to update it as i just looked and i see that you are correct. i'll also have to update the DC Database wiki too, as that has no info on the character, just a pic and her first appearance. and it even incorrectly lists her gender as male. gotta love when people completely drop the ball on the wiki pages.

OK, fall off a log simple. In regular MC continuity, how many women have had the mantle of "Spider-Woman" and what are their names?
Bonus question:what name did Sussa Paka first use when she debuted?

Post by jlavaia on Aug 8, 2009 13:10:17 GMT -5
Jessica Drew, Julia Carpenter, Charlotte Witter, & Mattie Franklin. and Veranke masqueraded as Jessica Drew for a long time.
and for the bonus, i believe Spider Girl first used the name Wave, but for only the one appearance, before going to her more well known name of Spider Girl.
i like how you tied the 2 completely unrelated questions together like that. i also love the Legion trivia. i'm a bit of a Legion buff so its nice to see a Legion question. i was going to ask some Legion questions too. that and some Superman questions. i've realized we've had maybe 1 Superman question through this entire thread.

For #1- Only 1 firefly i believe? Name - Garfield Lynns the question is for Firebug, not Firefly. they are seperate characters. there have been several fireflies though

the question is for Firebug, not Firefly. they are seperate characters. there have been several fireflies though while we are always happy to have new people join the trivia thread, please stay up to date. you just responded to something posted almost a year ago on the first page of a 69 page thread. to top that off your response has absolutely nothing to do with any question ever posted in this thread. now i went back to page 1 and looked and saw that my question was about Firebug and svennie posted his answer as someone who was Firefly and i responded by saying that Firebug and Firefly are seperate characters. fast forward to the present and you come in and make a completely random, and completely inaccurate (there have only been 2 characters to use the name Firefly, not several) comment that has nothing to do with Spider-Woman, Spider Girl or any question posted this year. basically, please stay accurate and up to date with the questions that you want to answer, respond to, follow up on, or comment on. thanks.

It was my pleasure tying the spider gals together. Since I really can't think of any real hard Superman questions, I'll give an easy one: Besides Kryptonite, what other thing is Superman vunerable too?

^ i never know who's a rip off of who. i dont follow alot of behind the scenes stuff, but i figured it had to be a powerful character with similiar powers or appearance and those are 2 of the most powerful with those kind of powers.

Starting Wednesday, I will only be able to get to a computer with Internet Access every once in a blue moon So you won't be seeing that much of me for a while. I will miss LOG.

we'll miss you too kilowog, come back soon.
and to answer the question, if i remember correctly, the Cyborg Superman used a machine on Superman that was supposed to break him down into millions of pieces and disperse him across the earth, effectively killing him, but the machine didnt work right and it split Superman into 2 pieces instead of a million.

a Superman question huh? okay. i'm having trouble thinking of any so i'll aks something easy:
where does Imperiex get his power from?

Post by batman1973 on Aug 13, 2009 16:14:36 GMT -5
Probably from the electric company(HEEEEEY YOUUUU GUUUUYZ!) Or, from his armor, most likely.

^ nope. he gets his power from the Big Bang itself. its why he was so powerful.
okay lets jump to Marvel, i have some truly difficult questions for you, 2 to be precise:
1. who killed Bruno Costa?
2. who used the name Frank Costa?
|
|
|
Post by batman1973 on Aug 15, 2009 0:46:17 GMT -5
I'm Gonna guess Frank Castle.
|
|
|
Post by jlavaia on Aug 15, 2009 0:58:28 GMT -5
nope for both. he tried to kill Bruno, but someone beat him to it. he killed the other 4 guys involved in his family's murder but someone killed Bruno before him. a hitwoman named Audrey is the killer. she was sent down there by Frank Costa, Bruno's brother, to kill him. in later years Audrey was hired by a mob higher-up to kill Frank Costa, which she did. Audrey herself met her end from the Punisher. we then later learn that Frank Costa is really the demon, Olivier. told you they were difficult. you have to be a hardcore Punisher fan to get those questions. okay, that was just something to throw out there though, lets go to something a bit easier:
who killed KGBeast?

The Tally Man, who was hired by The Great White Shark.
