Target had Batman dollar items available in the front of the store throughout August and Sept. We have them archived on our site, with the exception of the temporary tattoos, which will be up soon. The rest of the school supplies section isn't done yet, only the Target $1 section. www.legionsofgotham.org/COLLECTschool.html

Batman Beyond was a fantastic show. Anyone have any idea which 3 packs are coming out after this current wave w/ the Question? Next up any time now will be the repainted singles of Batman, Superman, WW, Bizaro, and Sinestro. Next 3packs probably wont be till the new year and I think theyre supposed to be the sets with Cheetah Old Bruce Wayne (yippie finally). Thats the Batman with the 'wonder pig' and the sinestro corps Sinestro, right?

lol, they can't cash in if you don't buy the tpb.
They are a business in the end. They don't make comics for fun. Its hard to remember that as fans, because we're so concerned with the integrity of the character...but, DC is concerned above all else with sales figures. They have to be, because if they don't do well, we don't get anymore comics.

No one has been asked to do anything as of yet gang. There is no script, no deal and no movie right now. Nolan hasn't even begun work on this..so anything we hear is fan rumors and possible studio desires, which don't mean much at this stage of development. Nothing you hear until at least 2009 will be worth listening to.

Yeah, I'll head back to the IMAX to see it again early next year, then! I've seen it three times in IMAX now and once in the standard theater.

My wife got my this as one of my birthday presents Going to be moving to a bigger apartment soon, and after I get some bookcases I will have more of the collection out and I'll snap some new pics. My goal is to squeeze it all out! lol. Not an easy task, unfortunately. The Tonner dolls alone take up tons of room.

I really dont get the fan-wagon clammoring for Hoffman. He doesnt do anything for me personally in general, let alone as the Penguin. Im sure he could do fine and they could cast worse, but IMO they could do far better too. I always liked the idea of Bob Hoskins years ago myself. I think they all like him, because there are only so many overweight actors out there to choose from, lol. I'd rather they just left Penguin out of the entire franchise, honestly. There are many better villains to touch on, imo. And can we get a link to Caine saying this about Riddler and Penguin?

I'm down with a re-boot. I hate all of the Superman Films. I know, stone me. But I have never enjoyed them. I do, however, like Smallville. Go figure. Superman II is really the only enjoyable Superman movie for me, but after that one I am right there with you about the other films.
And speaking of Smallville, have you seen the season opener trailer? Looks like it's going to be a great seasonI haven't yet..in fact I didn't see anything this last year or two on the show, either. We are working on buying all of the seasons to watch through right now. I have season one on DVD and season seven on blu-ray
