Are there any McDonalds employees here who would be willing to hook a webmaster up with a set plus happy meal box(s)? Let me know!

I'm down with a re-boot. I hate all of the Superman Films. I know, stone me. But I have never enjoyed them. I do, however, like Smallville. Go figure.

I'll probably preorder them; maybe collect them all. I can see me getting the blu-ray and the steel book edition right away....although, this listing here doesn't count all of the second tier retail exclusives that will be out there. Who knows what that may entail! You can bet Suncoast, Best Buy maybe Target will all get in on the exclusives. I'll collect all of THOSE for certain. With Begins even Shopko had a keychain you could get. The cool thing about a lot of these premiums gang...they give them to you at the register..no bar code...so if you return your DVD, there is no need to return your premium. Just throwing that out there, lol. I am guessing we'll see a poster at one store..maybe some kind of special booklet at another..special covers at a number of outlets...

STAR WARS™: THE CLONE WARS™ Premieres on Cartoon Network Friday, October 3
An All-New Star Wars Adventure Comes to Television Every Friday Night
Available on Cartoon Network and Cartoon Network HD
STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, the first weekly television series from Lucasfilm Animation, premieres on Cartoon Network Friday, October 3 at 9 p.m. (ET, PT) with a special one-hour presentation that anchors the Network’s all-new night of fantasy, action and adventure. New series The Secret Saturdays and the current hit Ben 10: Alien Force join STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS for a night of non-stop adventure, exciting storytelling and innovative animation.
In the signature style of Lucasfilm Animation, STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS chronicles the adventures of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Ahsoka Tano and other favorite STAR WARS characters as they struggle against the dark side during the divisive, action-packed Clone Wars. Each week, a new story in the galaxy-changing Clone Wars comes to center stage, brought to the screen by supervising director Dave Filoni and executive producer George Lucas.
Dwindling numbers of Jedi fight to maintain freedom and restore peace to the galaxy, using their army of genetically engineered clones against the seemingly never-ending droid army. The terrible conflict grows wider as our heroes are swept into the turmoil of war, while the evil Count Dooku, his assassin Asajj Ventress, their master Darth Sidious, the mechanical General Grievous and a rogue’s gallery of never-before-seen villains scheme to defeat them.
Cartoon Network’s new night of fantasy-adventure programming begins at 8 p.m. (ET, PT) with the series premiere of a new comedy-action series, The Secret Saturdays, from Cartoon Network, Porchlight Entertainment and creator Jay Stephens, about a family of world-saving adventure scientists. Doc, Drew and Zak Saturday live in a hidden base and are part of a network of scientists who protect against all the underlying evil in the world. To the Saturdays, ordinary folktales aren’t just legends, but real-life mysteries and adventures. Traveling from the Gobi Desert to the Marianas Trench, they explore ancient temples and bottomless caves and tangle with twisted villains, including the masked madman V.V. Argost and his half-human/half-giant spider.

We're all spending time on a Batman-themed message board here gang, I don't think any of us can cast stones at each other.
What Robert Downey said was rude, but it wasn't a personal attack on the character of Batman, just this film. Some people didn't like it, and they definately have the right to their opinion. The fact that Iron Man was a bit overshadowed by TDK probably had something to do with his comments, sure. Iron Man, IMO, was a GREAT movie. RDJ, IMO, is a great actor. I am sure he has his own reasons for his feelings. Definately nothing to get worked up over, lol.
Oh and for what its wroth, Robert Downey Jr. has always been very bitter and outspoken against things...this isn't anything new, its just kinda his personality.

I'm pretty sure that I've seen this wave already at Walmart a few weeks ago. I picked up all three figures. I'll check my TDK batman and verify his pose to be sure...

See, this is exactly what is happening in the comics right now, though. They're re-inventing all of these old C and D class villains, trying to make the entire DCU viable again. I think its cool that they pull out some little known ones...though I'd love to see at least a few bat-villains in there.

So yeah i crapped my undies when i first read this and I called a few of my friends who work for Mc Donald's on a Corporate Level and well, they have any information on this super TIGHT, to the point where my friends cant say much for fear of getting sued...yeah...I know for Mc Donald's toys no less. Im getting the feeling that these toys are going to be, the typical race car, vehicle format that they always release. Back in 1988 they released LEGO building blocks for toys, and had to recall them because some kid choked on them. (thanks for ruining our fun, whomever you are) So I really don't think the suits at McD's would risk yet another law suit against them. Again they might be in the fashion of missle launching, or pull back and go feature. Regardless...im still crazy excited for this!!! Now i can play with LEGO Bat's at my desk at work ha ha ha McDonalds has since released LEGO sets in their kids meals..they did a Harry Potter wave a few years back, my son has the bus. So, you never do know what they'll pull out... I'm hunting thru my sources for info/pics as well. I'll let you know when I know anything.

Mine too. I ordered both sets the first day they listed them and my order was cancelled today. Luckily I didn't still need the, because I have the single carded versions of all 4 figures. My TRU had about 12+ of the Batman vs. Joker set a few days ago. The next day they were all gone. Hey PJ, do you remember if it was wave one or two Joker? I can't tell by the pics of the sets online.

I recently purchased an unopened box (36-packs) of BTAS Series 2 trading cards. The cards cover Mask of the Phantasm, Heart of Ice, Feat of Clay and Cats Claw. Does anyone know how many cards there are per"set"? I'd like to have a complete set (including the much prized vinyl mini cels). The box also included cels #3 and 4 (duplicate). Thanks. Typically the individual packages will say something near the bar code about what is out there. Who produced these particular cards? Was it Topps, Skybox or another company? I will try to help you figure it out.
