My wife was at wal-mart this evening and found a most interesting item, it is a Batman "TV game", a little hand held controller that plugs into the av jacks on your TV and you play the game on screen. It is made by Jakks Pacific Inc. and retails for $18.77. I have scans of the front and back of the package if I can only figure out how to post them. [shadow=green,left,300]here are the pics! thx![/shadow]

I will definately have to buy this. My dad collects these TV games, because he is halph-paralized, and has to use joysticks, because he cannot move his fingers fast enough.I'll probably buy one for me and my dad will probably buy one for himself too.

[glow=red,2,300]Sadly my nephew is a marvel fan.
I'm going to Walmart some time today and i'll look for this when i go. I doubt i'll find it seeing as how the people who work in the department right now are extremely lazy or at least the manager is. I know this fact because my sister works at walmart in electronics and says that the manager doesn't like to stock new items, it's too much work. When my sister worked in toys, i always had the newest items to be released, she got me Masters of the Universe figures first before they were even on the shelf. I miss those days.
Thnx matt for the info/pics! Always the lucky one you are![/glow]

[shadow=green,left,300]and to clarify..this item is located in the toy section...found it on an endcap.
I'm not a 'gamer' by any means...I played a lot of 8 bit nintendo back in the day when I was a kid..and I liked the first playstation, but haven't played any games in years.
I really enjoy this game! Its challenging at parts.[/shadow]

Is it a side scroller? I like the old 16 bit side scrollers.
Your house looks like mine after my niece and nephew leave. Toys everywhere. ;D

"well, it certainly has my son's endorsement...he's actually really good at it..and he's only 28 months old."
Maybe I have a chance of actually being able to play this game, then. Modern games are so darned hard!
I serached high and low at my Wal-Mart today. Between the endcap and back near the "junk" toys they had easily 200 or more such games, but not a one of them was Batman. Spongebob, Disney, Spidey, Football, classics, but no Bats. Grrrr.

[shadow=purple,left,300]This game looks interesting. Before today, I had no idea such games exisited. Once I get over a lot of personal issues and decide that "fun" is an option, I'll be sure to look for this. I may also have to get "SpongeBob" as well. Thanks for the pics and the info! ;D[/shadow]
