[shadow=red,left,300]I never thought of that! Great point Doomsday!
My guess is that Fox was not a 100% sure if they were bullet proof!
That is just my guess, but to each it's own![/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]Timm said he liked John Stewart the most, but yet he gave Stewart Jordan's origin! If he liked Stewart so much why didn't he use Stewart's original origin? [/shadow] Actually, you misread my comment. He never said that he liked John Stewart the most. If so, then John would have been used in STAS instead of Kyle. Timm did not care for Hal. When the JL lineup was introduced, many fans were mad at the selection. They said that either they should go with Hal because he was the GL that was there when league was created in the comics or that they should have went with Kyle because he had been established in STAS. I remember reading that Timm chose John because he added diversity to the team (which is a good thing considering how times have changed since the comics were originally written), that he had more room to work with because he was less established, and that he did not care for Hal. Forgive me if any of the following information is inaccurate. It has been a long time since I read this. So that is why John got a slightly modified version of Hal's back story. It is the same reason that Tim Drake got Jason Todd's origin. You have to pull the best stories to make the best character. [shadow=red,left,300]Thank-you for clearing up my error and apologies if I have offended you in any way, shape or form. But I still believe that Timm should have stuck with John Stewart's origin. I really liked it. To me, you really don't like the character all that much if you are pulling different stories together. The way I see it, it is a big slap in the face for the person who created the character. [/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]I agree with batman1973. We all grew up with Jordan so most of us are used to him. But on the other hand I do like Kyle Raynder and John Stewart!
But I have one question. Timm said he liked John Stewart the most, but yet he gave Stewart Jordan's origin! If he liked Stewart so much why didn't he use Stewart's original origin?
Sorry if my question offends anybody. I just find it unfair for both characters. And I am sorry for going a little bit of topic.[/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]Great to see that there is someone else who is excited for it as I am!
I think Sinestro would make a great main villain David Boreanaz could play Hal Jordan in a live action movie easily. But I don't know, There are several others that could do a great job!
It would be very hard to choose! [/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]I am surprised no one started a forum on this! [/shadow] (From Superhro hype) It was almost a year ago it was announced that Greg Berlanti was set to direct the live-action take on DC Comics' Green Lantern, which he would write with Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green. Now, Guggenheim has given ComicCon.com an update: "I've been working my butt off on Green Lantern," he said, then laughed. "I'm ready for a weekend off. I really can't say too much about it. I've sworn a blood oath of secrecy. I will tell you it features Hal Jordan and is an incredibly faithful rendition of the character. It honors everything everyone loves about the hero. We approach it from a fan's perspective. Every step of the way, we ask ourselves what we want to see and what the fans will want to see. I think we have a script that will actually satisfy on those levels. Right now I'm just doing a rewrite for the studio with Greg [Berlanti] and Michael [Green]. We'll turn that in next week. We just keep moving forward. It's really good stuff!" (http://www.superherohype.com/news/topnews.php?id=7661 )[shadow=red,left,300]I would also like to add that movie web has posted concept art and you can find more of them here:http://www.movieweb.com/gallery/PGyRLzyGIL45CBI think this is very promising. What are your opinions? Do you think they should make a a movie on the Green Lantern? Who would you like to see in it? The floor is yours! [/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]Batman Beyond was awsome!
It was unique and stood alone in it's own universe. It would be interesting to see what would happen if they brought it back!
But it's been off the air for a long time, and DC is moving on, so who knows? [/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]Nice cover art.
But in all honesty; I didn't enjoy it that much. To me it was just a mediocre movie. Nothing amazing and special.
I wish they could make a Special Edition Batman: Mask of the Phantasm or Return of the Joker sooner then a Superman Doomsday! [/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]^If younger fans do not know who some of these characters are they should be introduced!
And most screenwriters and animators can come up with new ways to introduce them to capture the interest of a younger audiences. So, another words, I have no idea were your coming from brucebatman? The story of Batman has always been simple to understand no matter how old you are you can understand it. Its not like "Lord of the Rings" were you read the second book first and become confussed!

Wow, I can't believe how worked up everybody got over this. Sure I think that the only reason he "didn't like it" was because TDK beat Iron Man, but just think, it's one man over about a billion people! [shadow=red,left,300]I am starting to find this entire thing slightly ironic.[/shadow]

I also would have expected Clancy Brown to reprise his decade long role as Lex in Superman: Brainiac Attacks..but we don't always get what we expect, unfortunately. I'm hoping for the best...but man that DTV really jaded me about future releases However, if Clancy isn't availble for Lex, Michael Rosenbaum could pull double duty as Wally Flash and "Mr. Loo-thor" [shadow=red,left,300]Then in that case I hope Clancy is available! Not to fond of Rosenbaum as Lex, mostly because of Smallville's seventh season![/shadow]

No, we need to start fresh because if we start with the older Batman, newcomers will be all confused! [shadow=red,left,300]Sorry for my rudeness, but you would be really stupid to be confused with an older Batman! I would like some other Characters to come in when Batman is at his prime (as I mentioned earlier). and Robin and Batgirl have moved on. With Hush, the Huntress, the Spoiler, Azrael and others.[/shadow]
