[shadow=blue,left,300]When I first saw that cover to Batman #638 I thought JASON TODD. I mean look at Batman's shocked face and then you have the reflection in the hood. Hmmm..
Then again DC could be throwing us off, but I'm still leaning towards Jason Todd.[/shadow]

So, Matt, you think JT is Red Hood, I think JT is Hush. Could he be both? Personally, me vote for Red Hood is Harvey dent. We haven't really seen him at all since Hush. [shadow=green,left,300]see, I actually am thinking Harvey IS Hush Ralph. I posted on it in the Hush thread![/shadow]

[glow=red,2,300]SPOILER:
In the first issue that features the new red hood Batman discovers that red hood came very well prepared and knew many of Batman's weakness in fighting/ costume. Ok so if the red hood knows so much of Batman's weakness then it is probably someone close to him or was close to him. Enter JT. His donning of the red hood would probably be b/c the joker was the last red hood and joker was the one who killed him, so in a twisted way he is carrying on that legacy. Also Red Hood tells the dealers not to sell to kids, that's probably b/c he was a kid when he died so he kinda formed a twisted view of being the children's guardians. But this is just a conspiracy theory, i'll leave it to you experts to figure it out![/glow]

If so, I'll bet Hush is...Harvey Dent!(which would actually be very cool, with all said and done. )

It would be sweet to know he can bust out some skillz that killz.

I just picked this issue up last night on account of the holidays this week. I'm going to sit down to read it this morning so I had to be careful to blow by the spoilers above. I'll comment a bit later on.

If you look close at this pic from the new solicitations, you can make out a face... Based on the pic...it could be Jason Todd, no?

Do I think from everything we have seen and read and all of the theories posed on here that it is Jason Todd? Yes. EVERYTHING points to him.
That tells me it is someone else. Really...if ALL signs point one way, DC is usually throwing a curveball.

I read Batman #635! I think more than ever that Red Hood must be Jason; who else could it be to make Batman so shocked? This makes me a little depressed, tho, since I really did want Hush to be Jason. Oh, well, I guess it'll be a better story this way.

It's another unneccessary revival, Charlie Brown.
That face sure looks like Jason Todd to me- but why on earth would the writers want to bring him back? Post-crisis, the character was ANNOYING. Evil? No. Annoying? Enough to get him killed off in a fan poll.
Can't anyone stay dead? I've got a feeling this is going to turn 'Spider-Man Clone Saga' on us. Or, maybe I'm blissfully wrong and it's Clayface. Whatever.

i agree that all the evidence points strongly to todd, but like others have said DC are hardly likely to let the cat out of the bag this easily are they??i for one hope it is todd so the Ace of Knaves can kill him again that is the ONLY reason this annoying character getting revived could pan out well for me

I'm pretty sure that it's Jason Todd.
JT has always been an important part of the Batman back story, the guilt that Batman carries for his death is legendary. Now Spoiler/ Robin IV is also dead and and Batman has another Robin to grieve over, which would allow JT to come back.
I personally would prefer he stay dead though

I agree, Todd was a much more interesting figure dead than alive (look at Frank Miller's Dark Knight series one), but trading one roasted bird for another would sort of cheapen the situation even further.
With luck, it'll turn out to be some unrelated character we have yet to be introduced to. Or a martian. Or a robot. Or Clayface.

Who is the new Red Hood? Me I am going to say it is possibly one of two people:
1. Jason Todd- I think there is demand for him to come back, and he is a hot topic.
2. Ted Kord- He was mentioned in the last Batman comic 635. He would know who Batman/Bruce Wayne is from there Justice League days...

the title of the next arc after this is "family reunion". Blue Beetle is an interesting choice, but why would he turn villain?

. Blue Beetle is an interesting choice, but why would he turn villain? He is a millionaire just like Bruce Wayne, but unlike Batman, he might feel as though The Blue Beetle is not taken as seriously and wants to make a huge statement in taking out the greatest hero of them all

its definetely possible......... I really hope it turns out to be Jason Todd, but I have a feeling that DC is stringing us along again and who ever it is under the red hood is going to come as a complete shock, or atleast not the person we all expected. Thus me going out on a limb and predicted Ted Kord/ The Blue Beetle

In the latest issue of Batman 636 we see Red Hood escape from Batman and Nightwing, doing all sorts of sommersaults and flips, and I thought it reminded me alot of how The Blue Beetle moves. Because Jason wasn't that much of an acrobat, he was more of a street smart kid.

Alright, look - I'm willing to accept Blue Beetle as the Red Hood and all, given that Hush has to be Jason Todd (now that we know he's not Tommy Elliot). But remember - the Red Hood was originally the Joker - is that fact a possible clue we've all overlooked?

its definetely not the joker, he cant move like that. the moves could be done by beetle, but when was the last time he was actually blue beetle. he retired from the costume awhile ago, we really only see him make the occasional cameo in Birds of Prey. Batman already knows or has a good idea of who it is, once he cut the batline. its someone he's either faced before, trained, or trained him.
