i'm going to have to play a demo for Web of Shadows before i can say how good it truly is, but it does look good and it has to be better than Friend or Foe. the comic gam i'm looking forward to the most tough is definitely Ultimate Alliance 2. i love both X-Men Legends games and the first Ultimate Alliance was great, and part 2 is looking like it'll be just as good.

I'm excited about Web Of Shadows for the sole reason of that Their is a proper combat Ground,wall, air fight system.

Forget about Spider-Man (BOOOOOO)! Batman is way better!
But I am psyched for Arkham Asylum, Batman LEGO, and TDK the game!

i do agree that batman is way better than spiderman but spiderman is number 2 in my book, anyway i think anyone considering buying spiderman web of shadows should wait to read some reviews and rent it before you buy because while the first 2 spiddermna movie games and ultimate spiderman were good the last 2 ( spiderman 3 and friend or foe) were completly awful. i almost made the mistake of buying spiderman 3 when it came out and when your 16 it takes weeks to save up for just one game. my second hobby after batman is video games so im really exited for this, lego, and TDK if it exists. also i now have both covers of gameinformer. but i also have to admit that web of shadows looks cool,im just sayng you should make sure before you spend all your hard earned cash

This game looks exceptional. I only wish that I could play it. Unfortunately, my PS2 is not going to be doing me any favors anytime soon. At this point, I'm pulling out PS1 games that I didn't play when they first came out. It seems I have become a fossil in the gaming world.

Oh My God!!!!! this looks likes the best Batman game ever. i have just read a pre-view of it in an Xbox magazine over here in England. Lego Batman is gonna be cool but Arkham Asylum is gonna be AWESOME!!!!! keep the updates coming guys.
You guys in the states are legends,am loving all the Batman info!!!!!

Same here,i think after all the years he ha done the voice of the character for a comic book game to appear and have the Joker voiced by some noob would be a bad move this is giving wthe fans what they want.

I really can't WWAAIIITT for this game to come out - im shakin in my booties in anticipation for it! I looks good from screenshots - the story sounds pretyt solid - andvoice actors seem all set!

yea one of the guys up at gamestop said its got a june 1st release date. but what made me mad was id just missed the contest where when u pre order the game they enter u in a drawing to be one of the inmates in arkham. oh well I'm just ready to get it and miss a day or two at work cause I'm gonna be locked up tight while I'm playing that one.

Drawing as in a contest where they draw out your name. Yeah, this contest started a couple months ago and the deadline was sometime this month. You had to be 18 or over to enter, so I couldn't. |

some new info was released in an article in the new issue of OXM. the game will rely very heavily on stealth gameplay. you can hide bodies of guys you knockout in a multitude of locations. you can also invoke fear in other goons. you can knockout a goon and hang hm from the ceiling in plain view and when others see the hanging guard they get visibly agitated and nervous, making them easier to deal with. there's also a detective mode which comes into play when you enter a new room you can scan it in detective mode and it shows you the entire layout of the room including any grapple points and other things of note in each room. looks pretty interesting. it seems to be like Splinter Cell meets Hitman type gameplay.
on another note, i read somewhere else that the final boss is supposedly Joker pumped up on Venom.

I think, well, I know WHYYY they would do that. Compared ot Batman, the Joker fighting him wouldn't be too much of a real battle. I mean sure Joker can throw in a good one-two punch and a real kick (I mean in Salvation Run he completely kicked luthor's butt - but we must remember Lex isn't too much of a body builder himself >_<); but to really go against Batman? No, he'd have to have some sort of gimmick - but - still maybe they shoulda let him do something else. Maybe leave hte venom for another boss fight with perferably Bane.

I've always thought that they should make a Batman game with a Splinter Cell/Metal Gear Solid type game play to it (never played Hitman yet).

yea from wat Ive seen its gonna be the game to get. the only thing that could make it better is for an open world Gotham game. if done right that would be great for a follow up, if this game flys off shelves hopefully this will be the start of a really good franchise
